Age 14
Today was the day. I was finally in high school. Only four more years to go and I would be free! Well unless I go to college. Looking down the halls I am surprised at how big high school is. There is a lot more people. Older people. And this is where all the fun begins. At least that is what Zack told me.
"Isn't this awesome." Laura smiles at me. I roll my eyes.
She told me she spent hours picking out her outfit. She was wearing a jean skirt and a tight white top doing whatever she could to show off her breasts. That's right. She was obsessed. It got worse when mine appeared over the summer much to my dismay. Mine were already bigger than hers. Physically I had changed a lot over the summer. I was thinner and toned. I had a tan from Laura forcing me to sunbathe all summer and from playing in the pools with the boys. I was taller too. Unfortunately not as tall as the boys who now towered over me. It was so unfair! Whereas Laura put in a lot of effort, I just threw the first thing I found in my closet which basically consisted of shorts, jeans, tank tops and t-shirts. Today I was wearing a pair of jean shorts and a Green Day T-shirt.
"I still can't believe you chose to wear that." This time she rolls her eyes.
As I turn to look away I slam into someone and fall to the floor.
"I am so sorry!" we say in unison. I look up to meet sparkling blue eyes.
In front of me stands a boy. A cute boy. He has blonde hair that is cut short on the sides and is slightly longer on the top. He was also tall. Even taller than Ethan.
"Hi. Uh sorry. I should have been paying attention to where I was going." I say to him nervously.
He grins. "Are you a freshman?"
                              "That obvious?" I blush.
He nod. "A little. I have no idea where I am going though either."
"Are you a freshman?" I ask confused. I thought he looked older.
"No, a sophomore. I just transferred here from New York." He explains.
"Cool. I am Alison by the way." I smile.
"I am Noah. This might be kind of forward but do you want to go out sometime?" he asks.
"Me?" I say bewildered. He wants to go out on a date with me?
"No, with Homer Simpson." He says sarcastically. "Yes, you."
I laugh. "Okay." We exchange numbers and then part ways. Before I get too far then I hear him call my name and I turn around.
"Cool T-shirt by the way!" he yells down the hall before turning to leave.
"How are you so lucky?" Laura asks surprising me. I had completely forgotten she was there.
                              "What do you mean?"
"You are already best friends with two extremely hot guys and you manage to land yourself a date with another hot boy on our first freaking day. And you didn't even try!" she exclaims dramatically. I roll my eyes.
"Come on, let's go already." I grab her hand pulling her to our first class.
Later that day I find Ethan and Zack at lunch and we find a spot to eat outside.
"Hey, I hope you guys don't mind but I invited a friend to join. He is new and doesn't know anyone." Zack informs us.
"Hi." I look up surprised to see Noah.
"Guys this is Noah. Noah, this is Ethan and Alison." Zack introduces us, oblivious to the fact that we already met.
"Actually I met Alison this morning." Noah announces.
