~Tia's P.O.V~
Even though it was the middle of the day, I took a nice and relaxing bubble bath, then went straight to my bed to take a nap that was a little over an hour. Upon waking up, I threw on a long T-shirt, and slid my feet into my slides before making my way downstairs to my basement where Donald was making beats and writing songs. I'm sure that's exactly what he's doing. Entering the room, I remained quiet so he could finish recording, to not disturb his work. Donald quietly looked up at me.
"I accept your apology," I spoke.
Why did it take so long? Because he pissed me off and to lie and say I accepted his apology upon entering the house would've been a total lie.
"That doesn't mean that my feelings aren't hurt, because they still are. I'm just not as upset as I was," I sat down. "I've calmed down a lot."
"Thank you. I shouldn't have done that. It went too far. I wasn't expecting you to just creep out of the house like that. I thought you'd at least try to beat my ass," Donald chuckled. "You drew out an entire plan on your head right then and there."
"Mm, Lisa Lopes popped into my mind. However, I remembered how I'm not jail material. Besides, a cheating man is NEVER worth getting a record. My record is clean," I replied. "Besides, I don't know those people like that and I don't need slander. I have enough going on with the ongoing lies and truths about my life in the press."
"Well, you don't have to worry because like I said, I never cheated on you, nor did I conceive an infant child. I'm glad that you accept my apology. I understand why it took so long. You ain't want to lie and say you accept it and it becomes ongoing because if he receiving mixed signals," DeVanté replied. "So where's you go?"
"Nowhere really. I drove around."
"Why were you drenched with rain water?" He squinted. "What were you thinking?"
"Oh, I didn't have an umbrella. I did take a walk in the rain," I told him. "I had to cool myself down from that bull. Although I didn't want to go home, I wasn't expecting you to be at my house."
"You didn't answer my phone calls, so I came here knowing this would be where you'd go back to," DeVanté shrugged. "I had to get my woman back after I fucked around and found out."
I sighed, "okay. Well, that's all I came downstairs for," I stood up. "I'll be on my way now." I made my way towards the door.
"Get dressed," DeVanté spoke up.
I turned to him, "what for?"
"It's still date night," he replied. "I'm taking you out. That is if you're still up for it?" He raised his eyebrows.
"Depends on where we're going..?" I put all of my weight on one leg. "Sir, where are we going?"
"Tia, if you don't know me by now- I love you surprise my woman," he cocked his head to the side. My fiancée. Is that alright?"
"Is Jax coming?" I asked him.
He sighed, "Jax- he could come if that makes you feel better. I was just going to have my security come through. Jax has done so much today. You have no idea. He was very helpful with me when it came to you running away from home."
