~DeVanté's P.O.V~
Tia is currently inside of the shower and I just got out before she got inside. Over here talking about some of my sweat got all on her type shit. I had to wash my braids out, so now my hair is a little fucked up. After my hair semi air-dried, I put some leave-in conditioner all over my braids because I believe we're supposed to get in the pool and it'll protect my hair. I'm seriously thinking about chopping all of this shit off and eventually starting all the way over. However, I want to rock a short haircut for a while.
Over the years babygirl has definitely been helping me with my hair. Even before we got into a relationship. My hair is way more healthy than it was before when Tia was talking all of that shit during that yacht vacation. Anywho, I know what happened today isn't over, but for the most part, we worked this shit out. It took some effort, especially on my part, and mostly because I'm the one who fucked up. Not to mention how stubborn Tia can become, ESPECIALLY when she's pissed off.
The entire thing was just a bunch of stupid bullshit and a hell of a lot of unnecessary shit that exploded into something big. The good part about it is that everybody here has signed NDAs. I still don't want everybody in our business. We have had enough of that shit. Tia isn't used to this shit like me, so she got more strict when it comes to the people she allow in her and our lives. It's a smart move too.
The water shut off. So much for a quick shower. This woman was in there for about thirty minutes. I washed my hands and then walked out of the bathroom before she even stepped out. We've been on this celibate journey that started on the first of April. It's been a long four days, but best believe that we got a lot of that shit out of our system beforehand. March thirtieth went crazy. Although, that now feels like so long ago.
"Where are you?" Tia yelled out and I walked closer to the door of the bathroom to speak.
"I'm about to head outside now. I'll let you get dressed. A'ight?" I told her.
"Mhm. Bye!" She replied.
My eyebrows furrowed and I peeked my head around the corner to see Tia is sitting on the countertop with her towel covering her body. "You still eager for me to leave you alone, huh?" I eyed her. "The hell you sittin' up there for?" I walked back into the bathroom.
"Is there a rule that I no longer sit on my countertop now?" Tia asked me.
"I ain't say all that. I'm just wondering," I moved closer. "So why'd you call me over here?"
She gave me a confused expression, "Oooh, I don't think I'm the only one with mental problems. Although they are very different because I'm not hearing voices like you are. When did I eVer call you over here? You voluntarily waltzed your way back into the bathroom," Tia let out a chuckle.
I looked up at the ceiling, then down at Tia, "you may be right."
"No, sir. I'm certainly correct. Although, I just mean about the last part. I hope I'm not correct on the first part?" She side-eyed me. "Your temper did get out of hand and you know what they say..." I kissed my teeth at her. "Did you put leave in conditioner in your hair for the pool?"
"I did put conditioner my hair just before I left the bathroom," I replied, pointing to the container by my sink. "You see that my shit is a little wet."
