"Thank god, you two are media trained." Trixie mumbled sarcastically, eating a bite of her food, as I threw another insult at Keith who sat across the table from me. "Oh course, you would know better. Wouldn't you?" Keith said, his voice very close to screaming.

"I would know, Keith. Considering how many times I have saved your sorry ass from being thrown across the stable by Daisy." I retorted, both of staring each other down as Trixie got up from the table, carrying her fruit bowl over to the couch where Joey sat with a quite mumble of "These children."

"Oh, you think you're better rider than me cause Daisy likes you more?" Keith said, actually screaming this time. "A connection with your horse is absolutely necessary to build trust and for the horse to allow you to ride." I stated calmly as I heard Keith's whining in the background. "Not this again."

"You know I'm right, just accept that I'm the better rider." I said leaning over the table and flicking his forehead. He looked taken aback for a second. "Did you just flick me?" He asked as if I had committed the most heinous crime. "You wouldn't listen-" I barely finished my sentence as a perfectly cut piece of watermelon plopped on my plate. I touched the wet spot on my forehead before mimicking Keith's previous look. "Did you just throw a watermelon at me?" I asked though my voice was 10 degrees calmer. "I-" Before he could even continue, I flicked my spoon, the chocolate pudding forming a brown spot on his cheek.

His response was throwing a chocolate croissant at me as I ducked, before taking a bite out of it. This went back and forth with solid food until I was on his side of the table. Both of us panted as we waited for the other's attack. We could hear Trixie and Joey's laugh and occasional 'oh's and 'ah's. "Ok, ok." Keith said putting his hands up. "I surrender. Let's hug it out." He said moving towards me with his arms open. I looked at his face for insincerity which was a big mistake because before I could decide, a plate of soft butter was slammed into my face. He just stood there laughing at me as I wiped my eyes. I silently reached out for the first glass and poured a cold glass of orange juice over his head.

He just laughed out a chain of 'Oh's as he stepped away. "Big mistake." He said pursing his lips inwards at me. "Maybe you should just accept-" This time my sentence was cut off as he poured lukewarm porridge over me just as I had finished wiping my face. I felt it roll down my hair, nodding with an annoyed smile. I wiped my butter covered hands on him as the chasing started again.

It was worse because now all types of juices and cereals were being tossed around. I was ready to accept defeat, letting out strings of 'sorry's as Keith picked up a giant fruit pie in the centre of the table. Before I could say anything, the whipped cream covered pie came flying at me as I just ducked.

"Shit." Was all that echoed through the room as Keith, Trixie and Joey looked petrified. I looked up from my crouch to see Matt with whipped cream on his face and his hands on his waist. "Shit." I repeated as Matt started scolding. Me and Keith stood next to each with our hands in front of us and heads down. "Time out. Both of you. Go to your rooms. Maybe take a bath." He said, adding the last part as we passed him.

"Sorry Matt." We echoed crossing into the hallway. "This is your fault." I mumbled. "It is obviously your fault." He said, his voice a little louder as he hit me on the arm. It quickly, as suspected, turned into a slapping contest as Matt's behave echoed from the living room.

We stood in silence glaring at each other as Keith finally smiled. "You're right you know." He said as I looked at him with a question in my eyes. "You are better than me." You're better than me in a lot of things, Kami." He said hugging me.

Webroke apart as I squinted at our combined stench. "We should shower." I said asKeith laughed. "We definitely should." He said laughing as we both headed in.
