Finnick

I was kissing her. I had dreamt of this forever and it was finally happening. Her hands were every and nowhere at the same time. Her hands roamed my body but yet I needed more. I needed her closer. I need to be joint together in a way no one could separate us. I pulled away, foreheads resting together.

"If I asked you to run away with me.." I started but she responded before the idea had barely formed. "I would have. In a heartbeat." She said, her voice soft. "And what if I asked you right now?" I asked and she just responded with, "I would've." She said and my heart dropped. I should've taken her away when I had the chance. Off where no one could find us. We had no one who Snow could hurt on our behalf. I should've taken her past the fences. Past the lake outside 12, Haymitch so often talked about. Past the forest. To 13 where we'd be free.

"Need you, Finnick." Was the last thing she would say to me for a long time but the way her lips would say my name would stay in the strongest safe of my heart till I saw her again. And when the plates had risen into the arena the next morning. Her sighs and moans of my name and the warmth of her hands on my body had stayed all the way until I held her in my arm again.
