It was 10 PM when Aman and Rohit finished their work and handed it to Virat, who was deeply engrossed in reading a file. "Go home, both of you," Virat said without even looking up from the page.

"But we could help," Rohit said, his concern evident as he noticed how worn out Virat looked. He wanted to be there for him.

"You can't right now. I need you both to be fresh tomorrow. We have a ton of work for at least a week," Virat replied, meeting their eyes.

"And you're a robot, so you don't need sleep, right?" Rohit asked, which caught Virat's attention.

Aman chuckled softly, sensing there was about to be some drama. He quickly sat on the couch.

Virat raised his eyebrows. "What? Why are you looking at me like that? The office hours are over, and I haven't said anything wrong. You think you can handle everything at once— no food, no sleep? I know the situation isn't ideal right now, but that doesn't mean you can behave like a robot," Rohit snapped.

"What did you just say to me?" Virat got up from his chair, his tone sharp. Rohit hesitated, "Um, I was just—"

"Bhai, don't intimidate him," Aman interjected, supporting Rohit.

Virat rubbed his forehead, exasperated by the two stubborn people in his life. "Let's go home," he said, knowing they wouldn't leave until he did.

Aman got up at that, "My stuff is in the conference room. I'll meet you guys in the parking lot. Taking the car keys, Bhai!" he said, sensing they needed to talk.

They wrapped up the files, and just as Virat was about to switch off the lights, he heard Rohit say, "I'll go to my apartment. It's the opposite side— so, umm, you guys go ahead. I've called a cab."

Virat followed him to the elevator in silence. "Is it because of what I said about not touching my things this morning and the project thing?" he asked after a moment of silence.

Rohit looked down, not responding. Virat knew he was right. "Rohit, I—"

"It's fine, I understand," Rohit said, getting out of the elevator and stepping into the waiting cab before Virat could stop him.

"Give him time, Bhai," Aman said, coming up beside him and guiding him to the car. Virat rested his head against the seat, exhaustion weighing on him both physically and emotionally. "Do you want to go to your apartment too?" he asked in a quiet voice.

"I'll drop you first, then go— only for today," Aman said. "You need to think, Bhai. Are you really ready to have Rohit in your life? If yes, you have to change. You can't say things you don't mean, even if you say them in anger. Those words hurt more."

Virat entered his apartment feeling more alone than ever. He removed his coat and undid his tie before stepping onto the balcony to smoke, feeling stressed about everything.

He was about to lose his company soon, and he had just hurt the only two people he had in his life.

He sat there, unsure of what to do or how to make everything okay.

The next morning, when Rohit arrived at the office, he noticed everyone working more systematically and silently than usual.

"What's going on?" he asked Aman, who had just stepped off the elevator. "We have the board of directors here today— the head of the committee, who handles the branch in San Francisco," Aman informed him.

As they approached Virat's cabin, they saw ten people following one person, and everyone in the company stood to greet him.

The man entered the conference room where Virat was already present, shaking his hand.

After three hours, Virat returned to his cabin. Rohit and Aman noticed he seemed a bit more stressed. "Is everything okay?" Aman asked.

Virat nodded, taking a sip of water to calm his nerves. Rohit felt genuinely bad for what he had said the previous day.

Rohit couldn't imagine what Virat was going through, though he didn't know the details. He still knew it didn't make it right what he said, but he could have handled it better.

A knock on the door broke their thoughts. "Who is it?" Virat asked, rubbing his temples. The person didn't answer and simply entered the cabin. Rohit and Aman stood up immediately, greeting him.

"I was hoping we could chat in private, Virat," the person said, and Virat nodded. He gestured for him to follow into the room attached to the cabin.

"Aman, give the employees a half day, and you both continue your work," Virat instructed before closing the door behind him.

As the door closed, "Come here, kiddo," the person said, and Virat collapsed into his arms, whispering, "Rahul Bhai," sobbing into his brother's shoulder.
