It was 11 p.m. in India when Virat landed in Mumbai. He reached his apartment and got freshened up.

He texted Aman that he was back in Mumbai and told him to bring Jassi along to talk about shifting here.

He went to Rohit's apartment to check on him. He knocked and rang the bell, but no one opened the door.

Virat wondered whether he was in the office or not, but it was 12:30 a.m. now.

Before he could drive towards the office, he noticed a cab in front of Rohit's apartment, and Rohit was there.

"Ro?" Virat called, to which Rohit turned and saw Virat near his car.

Rohit could not believe that Virat was there. Virat leapt forward and wrapped his arms around him.

"You are back, you are here," Rohit said, thinking it was a dream.

Virat rubbed his back. "I am here," he said gently.

"Come home with me," Virat said, breaking the hug after a few minutes.

He cupped his cheeks lovingly, and Rohit just nodded. 'Home' sounded so much better when Virat said it.

Virat drove towards his apartment, noticing that Rohit was dozing off.

He couldn't help but notice how thin he looked, exhausted even. "Was he not taking care of himself?" thought Virat.

Virat stroked his cheek with his thumb softly, to which Rohit opened his eyes and gave him a soft smile.

Once they reached the apartment, Virat opened the door for Rohit, only for him to stumble in his step.

He supported him immediately. "Ro, what's wrong?" Virat asked softly, helping him to the couch.

"Just dizzy," Rohit said, and Virat made him drink some water.

"Want to get freshened up? You will feel better," Virat asked, to which Rohit nodded.

Rohit got freshened up and changed into clothes Virat had kept for him. It was Virat's hoodie and sweatpants.

Virat quickly made some soup and a grilled cheese sandwich for him. He remembered how he had prepared the same when Rohit came home for the first time.

"Feeling a bit better?" Virat asked as Rohit came from the room, freshly showered. Rohit nodded with a smile.

"You look good in my clothes after so long," Virat said, plating the food. Virat noticed that Rohit did not respond to that.

Virat made sure Rohit had the soup and sandwich properly. Once done, Rohit sat in the living room, looking outside at the city. Virat sat beside him after wrapping up.

Virat softly cupped his cheek to get his attention. Rohit just cuddled to him silently. "Please don't leave like this again," he said after some time.

"I won't," said Virat, wrapping his arms around him, to which Rohit buried his face in his chest.

Rohit curled his legs, and his knees were almost in Virat's lap.

Virat felt him clutching the fabric of his shirt in his fist. "I am not going anywhere, I promise," Virat whispered, kissing the top of his head.

He knew he would be reassuring Rohit a lot in the coming days. His going away must have triggered the fear again in his mind.

Rohit didn't say anything that day, but it had affected him more than Virat could imagine.

"Baby, let's go to the room and get some sleep, alright?" said Virat gently, getting up with him, and lying down beside him. Rohit held his hand and was asleep in a second.

When Virat looked at him, all he could do was worry about him. He looked sad even in his sleep.

His physical health was not at all good; he was overworked, and the fear in his mind... everything was scaring Virat.

If Rohit was like this, was Aman okay? Was Jassi? Thinking all this, he did not realize when he dozed off.

The next morning, Aman woke up and read the text. "Jas, wake up, Virat bhai is back in India—Jas, get up!" He shook him excitedly.

Jassi got up, rubbing his eyes, only to be engulfed in a happy hug by Aman. "Bhai is back, see, he called you there asking if you wanna shift," Aman showed him the text.

Jassi was happy seeing that, but he also felt guilty. He looked at Aman.

He was so happy, but was Aman ready for him to move in together, or did he have to stay alone separately?

Since the time Aman came into his life, Jassi did not want to stay alone.

They got freshened up and were having coffee. "Aman?" Jassi called softly.

"Yes?" Aman turned his attention from the laptop to Jassi. The fact that he called him Aman instead of "baby" meant that something was bothering him.

"Do you think Virat bhai will forgive me?" Jassi asked, worried that he had ruined their relationship and was losing his mind thinking about that.

Aman held his hand. "Yes, Jas, he will—you just have to ask," he said softly, to which Jassi nodded.

"Jas, would you like to move with me to Mumbai?" Aman asked nervously.

"You mean with you and Virat bhai?" Jassi asked, confused by his nervousness.

"No, I mean with me at my apartment—together, both of us? A new start to our lives," Aman asked, shifting closer and holding Jassi's hand.

Jassi cupped his cheek and kissed his forehead. "I would love to. I couldn't even imagine staying alone here without you," he whispered lovingly, to which Aman grinned happily, hugging him tightly.

Jassi hugged him back with equal or even more love.
