Virat went into the bedroom, freshened up, and got changed. He wiped his face and came out to see Rohit waiting for him. Rohit was standing near the window of his room. He turned at the sound of the door opening and looked to see Virat already looking at him.

"Oh God, how is he so hot?" Rohit thought, seeing his messy hair and black t-shirt.

Virat just stood there, still feeling guilty about his words. "I'm really sorry, Ro," he said again, sincerely.

Rohit just moved forward and hugged him, knowing Virat needed that. Virat hugged him back, hiding his face in his neck. "I was just so scared that you didn't want me in your life," Rohit said, still hugging him.

"No, I was afraid I might hurt you, and I did. I feel... I am such a horrible person," Virat mumbled against his neck, which at that moment was sending shivers down Rohit's spine.

"You are not a horrible person, Virat, you are not," Rohit said, hugging him tighter, feeling the warmth.

Virat broke the hug and looked at Rohit, who was blushing a bit due to the hug and how close they were. Virat's hands were on his waist, and Rohit's arms were around Virat's shoulders. Virat cupped his cheek with one hand, and the other stayed on his waist.

"I really want you in my life, Ro. You are my peace in the chaos. I really like you, and I promise I will be better and try to share things with you," confessed Virat, which resulted in a lone tear trickling down Rohit's eye.

Virat wiped that tear and moved his hand to the back of Rohit's neck, pulling him closer and connecting their foreheads. Rohit closed his eyes, feeling so much warmth. "I like you too, Virat. Just share things with me. It hurts to see you alone and stressed," Rohit replied.

"I will, for sure, but just don't leave me ever, Rohit. I won't be able to take it," Virat said, cupping his cheeks. Rohit just hugged him. "Never. No matter how much we fight or anything, I won't be able to handle it if I lose you," he said, burying his face in Virat's chest. Virat just caressed his hair.

Virat broke the hug. "Tomorrow, I'll come with you. You have to shift here for a few days because we need to work together. We have to get this project, Ro. I can't lose my company," he said vulnerably. It was the first time he had shown this side to someone.

Rohit held his hands. "We will, Virat. You will not lose the company. We will do everything to save it," he said, assuring him.

Virat moved a bit closer, cupped his cheeks, and kissed Rohit's forehead softly, which brought a surprised smile to Rohit's face. Virat noticed how shy he was, and he loved that.

Virat noticed how tired Rohit looked. "It's been a long two days. Let's get some sleep now. You lay down. I'll get water and my mobile from the living room," Virat said and went outside. He checked on Aman again, who was fast asleep.

Virat joined Rohit, who was already half asleep. He covered him with the comforter and lay beside him.

After five minutes, he noticed Rohit cuddling up to him, keeping his head on his chest. Virat wrapped his arms around him and kissed the top of his head, only to feel Rohit shift closer to him.

The next morning, Aman got up early as he had to pack for Delhi. He came into the living room, only to see coffee and breakfast were ready.

"Bhai, you should have slept longer," Aman said, munching on the sandwich.

"Don't worry about me. I've packed your medications in the other bag. Also, I've sent you the contact of the new manager there. Coordinate with him. He's a trusted person. Please take care of yourself," Virat said, ruffling his hair.

Before Aman could say anything, Rohit came out, rubbing his eyes from sleep. "Morning, sleepy beauty," teased Aman.

"Shut up," Rohit said back. Aman chuckled at that. Virat was surprised at the new interaction between them.

"Chalo, bye, I'm getting late," Aman gave Rohit a hug, who was still half asleep.

Virat just made sure he had everything. "Please take care, kiddo," he requested again.

"I will, bhai, stop worrying," Aman said, giving him a hug before leaving.

Virat closed the door, only to see Rohit sleeping on the counter. He chuckled at that.

Virat caressed his hair, to which Rohit hugged him by his waist, closing his eyes. "Getting comfortable, are we?" Virat teased.

"This is my right now," whined Rohit.

Virat felt so happy listening to that. "But you still have to make it up to me for yesterday's words. I made breakfast for you," Rohit said, looking up from his waist.

He was so adorable with that pout and those cheeks, Virat thought.

"I had it at lunchtime. It was very tasty," Virat said, to which Rohit gave him a happy grin.

"I'll make it up to you, I promise. For now, get freshened up. Breakfast is ready. Then we'll go to the office and then your apartment to get things we need for the next three weeks," said Virat, kissing his forehead.

Rohit smiled at those small gestures and efforts from Virat, especially the forehead kiss. He loved it. Virat could guess what he was thinking and gently caressed his cheek with his thumb, tracing that smile on his face, making him shy and flushed.

They had breakfast and went to the office.

Meanwhile, Aman reached the Delhi office in the afternoon. "Hi, you're Aman Kohli?" someone greeted him.

"Yes, and you are?" Aman greeted, shaking his hand.

"I am Jasprit Bumrah, the new manager of this branch," the person introduced himself. Aman followed him to his cabin.
