In the Morning, the room gradually fills with light.

Ishika’s sleep begins to fade, and her eyes widen when she realizes that she slept the entire night on Ujjwal’s lap. His legs are bound to ache now.

She tries to move gently but can’t; his arms were wrapped securely around her all night.

Due to her loose kurti, the upper part of kurti had slipped down, exposing a fair amount of her cleavage, where his face was buried.

Ishika tries to wake him, but no sound escapes her lips. Instead, she slowly nudges his shoulder with her hand.

"You’re so warm..." His muffled voice comes from his lips resting on her cleavage, making her entire body shiver.

"Warmer than last night..."

Ishika blushes deeply, feeling butterflies in her stomach.

He slowly nuzzles closer as if seeking more warmth, but her kurti prevents him from going further.

"This kurti is in the way..." he murmurs in his sleepy voice.

Giving up after a futile attempt, he finally lifts his head, glances at her kurti, then looks around, "Is it morning already?" he mutters.

He looks up at Ishika’s face. "Why are you blushing so much?"

"Where?" she asks, shaking her head.

"Look at your cheeks."

His gaze lowers to her exposed cleavage, and he adjusts her kurti to cover her.

He looks into her eyes, while she avoids his.

"Should I get up now?" she manages to ask through her blush.

"Hmm."

She carefully climbs off him and heads to the bathroom to freshen up.

After her shower, she begins applying cream to her burn scars but struggles to reach the ones on her back.

From the bathroom, she calls out, "Are you awake?"

"Yes, Ishika," he replies, coming closer to the door.

"Could you call Mom?"

(After some time)

"I just went to call her, but she’s out for her morning walk as usual."

Ishika wondering what to do now. The thought of asking Ujjwal to help crosses her mind, but she’s unsure how to say it.

She finally speaks, "Could... Could you apply the cream on my back?"

"Of course,"

"I’ll call you in a moment," she says, putting on her leggings and holding a towel on her chest.

She opens the bathroom door, "Come in."

He enters and sees Ishika standing with her back to him, facing the mirror, wearing leggings with her chest covered by the towel.

Ishika’s heart pounds loudly. After glancing at him in the mirror, she quickly lowers her gaze.

He shuts the door and steps closer. "Your back is still wet, Ishika."

"Yes... um..."

He picks up a fresh kurti and says, "Here, take this and give me the towel."

She takes it, and when she notices his gaze lower, she holds the kurti against her chest before handing him the towel.

He gently dries her back.

After drying her, he catches her eyes in the mirror. Ishika, who had been looking at him, quickly averts her gaze.

He places the towel aside, picks up the cream, and begins applying it gently to her scars.

Ishika tightly closes her eyes. He notices this in the mirror, "Does it hurt too much?"

"It’s less painful than before," she replies.

"Hmm."

After finishing her back, he says, "Turn toward me,"

Holding the kurti against her chest, she slowly turns, keeping her gaze lowered.

"Look up, Ishika."

She lifts her face, and Ujjwal applies cream to a scar on her right cheek.

Leaning closer, he gently kisses her left cheek. His lips linger, and her grip on the kurti weakens.

"Where else do you need the cream?" he asks softly.

Blushing, she stammers, "I’ve applied it everywhere else."

"Hmm. So now?"

"I’ll put on my clothes," she says shyly.

"Hmm." He places the cream aside and leans against the door with his arms crossed.

Seeing that he isn’t leaving, Ishika lowers her gaze.

His attention shifts to the kurti she’s clutching to her chest. "How long will you keep hiding them from me?"

Ishika’s cheeks grow warmer.

Blushing, she says nothing.

"Hmm? And give your poor cheeks a rest, they’ve been red for so long," he teases.

"It’s because of you... you never let them rest," she says innocently.

"Really?"

She nods.

He chuckles and steps out of the bathroom.

She puts on her clothes.

Since all their belongings had burned in the fire, they plan to buy new things.

In the evening, Ishika and Ujjwal visit their house, where restoration work has already begun. It’s expected to be ready in a week.

They walk through the house, making a list of items to buy.

"Everything’s gone," he says.

"Even my nose ring," Ishika says emotionally.

He places a comforting hand on her shoulder. "You gave it to me with so much love."

"I’ll get you a new one, hmm?"

She shakes her head.

"Why?"

"It was so expensive."

"But you loved it so much."

"I don’t want it," she says firmly.

Once the list is complete, she takes it from him. "I’ll pay for these."

"I’ll handle it, Ishika."

"Why do you always pay for everything? Even the rent for Mom’s house. Every time I offer to pay, you say, ‘Later,’ but that ‘later’ never comes."

"Let’s do this- split the cost half-half. Okay, Ishika?"

She’s about to refuse, but when he says, "Please." she agrees.

Her gaze shifts to where his gaming console used to be. "I’ll get you a new gaming console."

"Let’s get the essentials first. We can buy the console later."

"Okay. But I’ll be the one buying it later."

"As you wish," he says, conceding to her.

"Good." She says.
