____________________________After Ujjwal and Mitali's wedding, they, along with Ishika, are brought to Ujjwal’s house.
Mitali sits on the bed in the decorated bedroom. Ishika is asked to stay in the adjacent room. She notices the door being locked from the outside, making her feel isolated.
Some time later, Ujjwal is asked to join Mitali in the room. Realizing what this means, Ishika’s heart sinks. She reflects on how quickly her life has changed- just yesterday she was happy, but today everything feels different.
"ahhh" Ishika hears Mitali’s moan coming from the adjacent bedroom.
Tears begin to stream down Ishika’s face.
"Feels so good... Ujjwal..."
Ishika’s eyes have turned red from crying continuously.
"ahhh"
Every moan from Mitali feels like a punch in Ishika’s heart. Ishika knows that Ujjwal is doing all this to save Swara, but she cannot bear to see Ujjwal with someone else.
Mitali moans one last time, and after that, Ishika hears no sound from the bedroom.
Without a blanket, she falls asleep on the bed, her eyes red, hair disheveled, body weak, her mind heavy with thoughts and her heart burdened with sorrow.

(Next Morning)
Ishika feels a familiar touch on her chest. She opens her eyes and sees that she is sleeping under a blanket. She recalls that she went to bed without a blanket.
She notices someone cuddled up close to her under the blanket. Instantly, she pulls the blanket down.
A wave of joy spreads through Ishika's body when she sees the man.
"Kumar..." she says, happily cuddling Ujjwal, clutching his shirt tightly.
Happy, she lifts his face from her chest and begins showering kisses all over his face.
Suddenly, there is a knock at the bedroom door.
Ishika holds him tight. "I won’t let anyone take my Kumar away now."
"Ishika... open the door. It’s me, Mitali," comes a voice from the other side of the door.
Ishika gently separates herself from Ujjwal and opens the door. Mitali asks her to come to the living room.
Both of them sit on the sofa. Mitali can see how much Ishika suffered emotionally last night.
"Listen carefully what I say, Ishika," Mitali says. "Everything Shashank did was just to protect his reputation."
"What?" Ishika asks, shocked.
"Yes. The news article may make people laugh at him, and he didn’t want it to affect his business..."
"...So, he first had Ujjwal divorce you, and then arranged for my marriage to Ujjwal, so it would appear that I cheated on Shashank and he became a victim, gaining sympathy from everyone..."
"...That’s why there were so many photographers at the wedding, so they could make the photos go viral and present Shashank as a victim..."
"...He even gave an interview to the newspaper overnight, saying Mitali eloped and married Ujjwal." Mitali shows Ishika the newspaper.
Ishika asks, "Your marriage to Kumar happened without your divorce from Shashank?"
"No, Ishika. Shashank had already divorced me long ago."
Ishika is stunned. "What?"
"Yes. He used to abuse me and then act like he cared. There was more abuse than love..."
"...That’s why, when I saw Ujjwal’s caring nature, I fell in love with him," Mitali says, lowering her eyes.
Ishika starts feeling insecure.
"But don’t worry. I will divorce Ujjwal soon," Mitali says.
Ishika feels relieved and happy.
"Really? But what about the conditions?"
"You probably didn’t read the last page. It stated that Ujjwal and I can divorce after a month when the matter dies down..."
Ishika feels a burden lift off her heart, but she suddenly remembers the previous night and becomes sad again.
Seeing her sad, Mitali asks, "What happened, Ishika?"
"Marriage consummation," Ishika says softly.
"Nothing happened between us, Ishika," Mitali reassures her.
"What? Then what were those sounds coming from your room last night?" Ishika asks.
"The last page also said that if Ujjwal refuses consummation, it’s fine. Shashank didn’t care about consummation, he only wanted the photos of our wedding to be published in the newspaper..."
"...And the sounds you heard, it was one of the conditions. I had to make those fake moaning sounds to disturb you one last time on Shashank’s behalf," Mitali explains.
"One last time?" Ishika asks.
"Yes. From now on, he won’t bother either of you."
Hearing this, Ishika feels immense happiness.
"You know, Ishika, while I was making those sounds last night, Ujjwal was really sad. He was upset, thinking about how hearing those sounds must have made you feel..."
"...He loves you a lot, Ishika. And I told him that until our divorce is finalized- meaning, for the next month- he can live with you and consider you his wife."
Tears forming in Ishika's eyes.
"Swara has been safely released," Mitali adds.
"That’s great."
Ishika gets a call from her mother, asking her to come home quickly. Hearing the urgency in her mother’s voice, she rushes to her house.
When she arrives, she asks, "What happened, Mom?"
"One man is coming to see you for marriage," Sneha says.
"What?" Ishika is taken aback.
"Look, Ishika, what’s done is done. Now move on."
"But Mom-"
Sneha interrupts her. "Here, look at his photo."
"Jiju looks good," Maanvi says.
"Don’t you dare call anyone 'Jiju' other than Kumar." Ishika warns.
"Maanvi, help Ishika get ready. They’ll be here any moment," Sneha says.
"Mom, please listen-"
Maanvi drags Ishika to the bedroom.
The doorbell rings.
Ishika’s heart starts racing. She doesn’t want to marry anyone else.
Maanvi hands her a tray of glasses and asks her to take it to the living room.
Ishika’s hands tremble as she carries the tray. When she reaches the living room and sees the man on the sofa, "Kumar," she whispers.
"This is the man," Sneha says.
Ishika also sits on the sofa.
"He seems like a good man to me," Sneha says. "What do you think, Ishika?"
Blushing, Ishika nods. "I like him."
Ujjwal smiles.
Sneha, delighted, says, "Okay. We’ll arrange the wedding in a month."
