Joe's POV:
It's been a week since me and Jazmine have talked and made up, making me feel much better. She agreed to make an effort to be less independent, and I agreed to be more understanding when it comes to that. I had to realize that since she's hard wired that way, it won't just be an overnight change.

I've also spent the past week going harder than ever in the gym. After talking with Jazmine, I told Vince that I would be back for Summerslam, which is coming quickly. Pretty soon, I'll be back at the Performance Center preparing to get back into the ring.

After my talk with Jazmine a few weeks ago, I decided to expand my tattoo, like she suggested. I was currently laying on the couch in the living room as Mike, my normal tattoo guy, was tatting my back. He had already added a small piece to the part on my pec and was now working his way back.

Jazmine was sitting on one of the other couches watching a thriller movie. The kids would come in to see the process and leave back out for their toys. "I don't see how you can sit through all that. It don't hurt?!"

"I mean yea it does, but it's not unbearable."

"I guess. There's a reason why all my tatts are small."

"Yea because you're a baby." Mike laughs at my response as she rolls her eyes.

"Anyways, I gotta figure out what imma get for my next one."

"You want a big piece like this?" Mike asked.

"Oh hell nah, I would never get it finished. About 30 minutes into it, I would tap out. I need something much smaller, preferably with minimal shading, since I heard that's one of the worst parts."

"I do agree with that." I respond.

Several hours later, he finally finished after taking a couple of breaks.

"It looks so good baby." Jazmine tells me as I stand up to stretch.

"Thank you baby."

"Hey can I get a few pics and videos for my social media before I go?"

"Of course."

Jazmine's POV:
"You ready to go back girl?" Makayla asks we eat lunch together in the break room.

This would be my last week in the clinic full time as next week I would be going back to the PC with Joe. That meant I would be splitting my time between there and the clinic. I am going to start back doing checkups and work in the clinic at the PC, which I am excited about. I have enjoyed this break, but I do miss everyone there. I know the feeling is mutual as I have been getting spammed with many texts and peers from many of my coworkers and the superstars.

"Yes I am, I miss everyone. Gonna be sad I'm not here as much though."

"You said you would still help out here when you can right?"

"Most definitely. Once I get settled back in over there and get into a routine, I'll be back."

"Good, it's been nice having my bestie back."

"I missed you too."

"Speaking of that, you never told me what happened after you left med school."

I met Kayla at Jackson State in undergrad. When I graduated from there and went to medical school, she started her career in nursing and later went back to school to become a nurse practitioner. We of course kept in contact then, but once I graduated med school, I just ghosted everyone.
