"HM..." Tengen hummed whilst cupping his chin, observing (Y/N) rather intently in a way that made her shift slightly where she was sitting. "Yes, I can tell you've grown stronger in the time we've been apart, which is a great feat in and of itself. As expected of Rengoku's Tsuguko."
"Thanks," (Y/N) murmured softly in an almost bashful way from his compliment.
Tengen's smile broadened from her rather shy nature, finding that by leaning just a bit closer to her had her stumbling over her words more often than not. He found it humorous how easily he could read her emotions based on both her actions and her expressions, finding himself becoming more and more taken with her personality as a whole. Chuckling, he however then leaned away to give her space, not seeming to notice the way Kyojuro frowned slightly at his display.
He was far too focused on (Y/N).
"So!" Tengen continued as he crossed his arms. "You are well enough to train, correct?"
"Yes," (Y/N) nodded. "Kocho-san said so herself."
"Still," Kyojuro butted in, his eyes flicking from (Y/N) to Tengen. "Training in a rough or brutal manner might worsen her still healing condition. Even if Kocho has declared (Y/N) can train, I don't want her to risk her health more than she should."
"Come now, Rengoku!" Tengen stated loudly as he placed a hand on Kyojuro's shoulder. "I've always admired your strength and tenacity, so if you've trained her, she surely has the same qualities, does she not? After all, I've heard from Kanroji how harsh your training style is, so how can mine be any worse? With how (L/N) has fared so far, surely she can handle a bit of light training easily."
"Definitely!" She declared with a raised hand.
"That's the spirit!" Tengen laughed heartily.

So, with a smile, he nodded his head in understanding, silently announcing that he would give her no more grief about training. Therefore, the three then made their way of the Butterfly Mansion and towards the back where a small training site was complete with boulder weights, wooden swords, and other equipment for various uses.
