"YOU'RE inviting me... a Demon Slayer... to become the very thing which I am fighting against?" (Y/N) blinked at Akaza upon hearing his proposition.

"You'd be surprised how often I receive positive answers," his smirk broadened.

She shifted in place.

Well.

I wasn't expecting this on my bingo card.

Does he offer this to everyone he fights?

It would make sense.

"Anyways," she shook her head to clear her mind of her thoughts, instead focusing on trying to survive for the night. "I'm afraid I will not be one of those positive answers, because I am rejecting your offer. To be human is to acknowledge that we have flaws, but know that we can still achieve greatness. To give that up would make me a fool."

"Hm..." Akaza's smirk faded ever so slightly as he dropped his hand. "You're strange, human. But, you're not the first to have rejected me."

"I am not surprised."

He chuckled at that, amused.

Akaza couldn't be sure of what it was, but he liked this woman's attitude—more so, he liked the determination blazing in her eyes. It meant that she didn't easily give up the things she believed in just because a few obstacles were in her way. That type of resilience was something he always admired in the humans that he met, even if their objectives were completely different from his own. They were the ones that always put up the best fights, in his opinion.

Of course, he wouldn't fight nor kill this woman.

It wasn't his nature.

"You're much more conversational than the other Demon Slayers I've faced," Akaza then commented as he crossed his arms over his broad and muscled chest, clearly a posture of ease, but if (Y/N) looked closer, she could see the tensity within his form that suggested he would be ready for anything she tried. "What's your name?"
