Chapter 62: The Most Tranquilous Game

Recap:

Derek: "Welcome back to Disventure Camp. Let's recap what happened last time. The Teal Team got a taste of home when they won a phone call reward. Jake received terrible news about his grandmother, and to cheer him up, Miriam told Jake her tragic tale, that was just the bump they needed to collectively win the challenge for their team. While (Y/N)'s cooking was great it was a bit too filling for Purple Team and it might go down to their hips. The Purple team had to lose not one but two members due to a game twist that is set up perfectly where Gabby got to take revenge on her former teammates. Lights out for Lill and Ashley. 10 are left and who will be voted out tonight?"

Here we see you and Alec talking to each other.

Alec: *shivering* "Those idiots hosts gave us the wrong batteries."

(Y/N): "Hey Alec, I never got a chance to talk to you. Why did you want to win the money?"

Alec: *shivering* "Well I have marital problems at home, marriages get testy which is common for most people. I'm just hoping things will get better. If I win the money I'll take my family somewhere to start a new life."

(Y/N): "So you think money will be a solution for everything?"

Alec: "Yes."

(Y/N): "Is money a solution for everything? Is it a solution to stop aliens from outer space? Is it a solution to find the exact amount of licks to get to the center of a tootsie pop? Is it a solution to turn the Sahara into a gigantic oasis of green trees and lucious plants with fertile soil?"

Alec: "W-Well..."

(Y/N): "See? There's your problem, you're putting in way too much effort for your family and before you know it you might end up being treated even more as a pathetic loser than Jerry Smith."

Alec: "That guy from Rick and Morty?"

(Y/N): "Yeah if you keep this up, you will end up like Jerry Smith, being so pathetic that there's a daycare made specifically for you cause you can't last 10 seconds on your own. Look if you ask me, in order to live the best life possible for not just you but for the whole family. You need problems."

Alec: "But I already have so many problems, I don't need anymore. I just want all of them to go away."

(Y/N): "If you get everything you wanted in life handed to you on a silver platter then what's the point in living? It's kinda like how Invincible went through when he's given the chance to undo the mistakes and consequences he made the moment he got his powers. He was giving everyone solutions to problems before they happened."

Alec: "Good point."

(Y/N): "Look, just try to solve your marital problems without money. Go to a movie, start a hobby with them, or just play some sports. You know, do things that don't require money to do it."

Fiore: *comes in*"Hey (Y/N) there are four of us and six of them, do you think we have a chance?"

(Y/N): "Well if we're smart about it, we can win this. And has anyone noticed that Jake is crushing on Ellie?"

Fiore: "Oh my god thank you!"

Ellie: *comes in*"I thought I was the only one."

(Y/N): "No, it's pretty obvious I'm pretty sure Jake will get with him and somehow mess it up because of paranoia."

Ellie: "As usual."

(Y/N): "Usual?"

Later on, we see both teams at the next challenge and we see Derek and Trevor.

Derek: "Everyone welcome to today's challenge!"

Trevor: "Today the challenge will be for individual immunities."
