Chapter 17: Search and Do Not Destroy

Recap:

Chris: " Last time on Total Drama Island... The teams were dissolved, leaving each and every camper to look out for number one. And just to add a little more drama to the mix, Izzy and Eva returned for more fun! The campers remained to suffer all manner of abuse in the No Pain, No Game Challenge! (Y/N) faced off against his bro Nathaniel and knocked Nathaniel's face off and by face I mean Lower jaw. And in a death display of log rolling, a grizzly got a piranha haircut, winning Leshawna invincibility. Now that the campers are forced to fend for themselves, who will be selfless? Who will be selfish? And who will eat shellfish? Stay tuned for the most thrilling episode yet on Total. Drama. Island!"

Here we see Chris looking through the pile of mail for you and he comes across a letter from the warden from Nathaniel's prison.

Chris: *Reads the letter* "Dear Chris, (Y/N) will now rest easy that the injuries that Nathaniel has sustained from the beatdown he has gotten from his brother made him die of blood loss. The court of law has pardoned (Y/N) for the murder and or manslaughter due to his popularity on the show and support from his fans. Also, be aware that any jabs at his mentality or jokes will result in immediate rage, please get him a therapist in between challenges. Seriously, he will kill someone other than his brother." *Stops reading*"Hey Chef, get a therapist on the line."

Chef: "Why?"*sees the letter from the warden*"Oh..."

Chris: "Well get a therapist on the line right now."

Chef: "And dip into the budget."

Chris: "If it means using all the prize money then yes, unless one of the eliminated contestants was a therapist or a-" *gets an idea* "CIT."

Later, at the resort, we see Courtney on the phone with Chris.

Courtney: "You want me to do what?"

Chris: *over the phone*"Be (Y/N)'s therapist so that no one else would have their block knocked off, plus it could really help us save up on money since you're the closest therapist around."

Courtney: "Why me?"

Chris: *over the phone*"You're a CIT."

Courtney: "Oh okay, I did have training to be a counselor and in therapy. If it's for (Y/N), I'm in."

Chris: *over the phone*"Awesome."

Later on, we see all the contestants at the amphitheater where we see Chris making some announcements.

Chris: "Before we have the challenge today, I'll go over some news. Nathaniel, the crazy brother of our favorite contestant with special needs has died from his injuries which is good news. Although this would make (Y/N) go a bit nutty if we say the wrong thing and someone else will be 6 feet under before reaching the end of the show. A problem like this will be solved with good old fashioned therapy, which means we have an ex-contestant returning. I'll give you a hint, she's a CIT."

We then see Courtney enter the stage and she waves to everyone.

Courtney: "Hey everyone."

Chris: "Just so you know, Courtney will not be participating in the show since she got voted off last time-"

Duncan: "Which was rigged by Harold."

Chris: "-She's here to be (Y/N)'s therapist in between challenges." 

Leshawna: "Really?"

Chris: "Yes, we all know that. Now, after (Y/N)'s session with Courtney, it's challenge time."

Later on, we see you and Courtney in Leshawna's trailer since Courtney is borrowing it to be a safe place for you.

Courtney: "Thanks for letting us use your trailer Leshawna."
