Mark lay with his arms folded behind his head and stared at the ceiling, where the light from the street lamps played, dancing a night dance with the shadows. Beside him lay Donghyuck, hugging the vampire's body in a tight hug, though sleeping peacefully. Their breathing was even, though the room was still filled with heat and lust.

Whatever it was, it was hard to forget. Mark had never felt this way before. He knew that it had something to do with what he felt for Donghyuck because no other human had made him crazy like this. He could've made himself go this far many times, but he didn't. He couldn't force himself and this night... He did it so naturally.

Something hit the window. Mark slowly turned his eyes in that direction, although he could already feel the vampire energy behind the glass. Looking there, even in the darkness, he could see that it was a bat. However, it was difficult for him to understand whether it was a familiar vampire or not, so Mark ignored it for a while.

"Hyung, I can feel you here. Let me in," the fluffy ball said, flapping its wings fiercely.

Mark realized that it was Jeno. Not wanting to wake Donghyuck, he turned into a bat and watched as the human's arm, which had just wrapped around him, gracefully fell. He didn't even react, which clenched the vampire's little heart a little. Is that why others left him so easily? Was it because he was so unresponsive?

The vampire quickly fluttered across the room and, pressing its snout against the window, used its wing to signal Jeno to wait for him at the door. The little bat nodded and descended, and Mark turned back into his main form and sighed as his eyes slid over his naked body, which at least he managed to hide from his brother. Just then, Donghyuck stirred in bed. Realizing he was alone, he sat up and called Mark by name. After the latter activity, they suddenly dropped "hyung" and moved on to the next stage.

"I'm here," Mark replied, glancing over his shoulder and noticing how Donghyuck's eyes slid across the dark room.

Unlike the vampire, he had to look around for a while before he saw him.

"I thought you left," the human laughed.

"No," Mark laughed too and then reached for his robe from the chair. "I never left you. I always came back."

"Sweet."

Mark wrapped his robe around his naked body.

"What now?" Donghyuck sighed, falling back onto the white sheets. "I guess I have to choose now."

That entire passionate evening had been playing on Mark's mind, blocking it from the essential part. Only then did he remember that what they had didn't mean they were already a couple. This bothered him.

Mark was so preoccupied with the other candidate and probably starting to get jealous of what was completely new to him, that he ignored the familiar energy as it rapidly approached.

"Who is he?!" Donghyuck gasped and grabbed the blanket, pulling it up to his neck.

Mark looked at his brother standing in the doorway. The latter froze in surprise and stared at the half-naked human he had seen a few seconds ago.

"This is another one of my brothers," Mark explained quickly, then walked to the door, grabbed Jeno by the arm, and pulled him into the hallway. "How did you get here?"

"It turns out the window in the living room was slightly ajar..." his brother muttered, letting Mark lead him as far away from the bedroom as possible. "Uh... What happened in that room?"

"N-none of your business. Why did you come here?"

"I wanted to check on your human. Hyung said he'd be with you, but I... Well, I didn't expect..."
