It was a weekend, most of the Straykids members being out and about enjoying their day. Excluding Chan and Seungmin.

The couple were preparing for a movie date. Being busy idols, they barely had time for themselves, so whenever they got the chance, they made sure to spend it together.

Chan had gone out to buy some of their favourite snacks and drinks from the convenience store down the street, while Seungmin stayed back at the dorm to set up the place.

Humming along to the soft music playing in the background, Seungmin continued to set up the seating room. Draping blankets and pillows around to comfy up the area. Closing the curtains and dimming the lights to further make the atmosphere tranquil.

Just as swungmin had finished setting up the place, he heard the sound of the door opening, indicating that Chan was back.

“Hey Minnie, they were out of those gummies worms you wanted so I got you a different one. The employee said they're just as good though” Chan called out as he began to unpack the snacks onto the coffee table he was kneeling before.

“That's okay. Where's the kernel? I'll go make the popcorn real quick.” Seungmin asked, Chan passing said thing to the younger.

“Thanks.” Seungmin mumbled after receiving the kernel, giving Chan a quick kiss before heading to the kitchen to make their popcorn.

Within a few minutes, Seungmin was back with a big bowl of popcorn, handing it to Chan as they sat on the large couch.

“It’s your turn to pick the movie, what should we watch?” Chan asks as he grabbed the remote and started to scroll aimlessly as he waited for Seungmin’s reply.

“Ooh let's watch wicked! I've been seeing it around and wanted to watch it for a while now.” Said boy replied, moving closer to cuddle up to Chan.

“Alright.” Chan said as he wrapped his arm around Seungmin, the other searching up the movie to play it.

As the opening scenes began to play, Chan read out the writings in a dramatic way, causing Seungmin to continuously laugh, making Chan smile in turn.

And as the movie progressed, the pair fell into a comfortable silence, cuddled up against each other as they enjoyed the musical, occasionally throwing in a few words of critique or jokes.

“Can you pass me those chips?” Seungmin asked Chan, too lazy and comfortable to stretch up and grab them himself.

“Say please?” The older replied instead, a mischievous smile on his face as he received a glare from Seungmin.

The older let out a laugh before moving to to get the chips, requesting a kiss as payment for his service. And even though Seungmin rolled his eyes, he did not hesitate to smother the older.

As the movie ended, Chan was spooning Seungmin, who after a glance, Chan noticed was asleep. A smile naturally graced his features before he moved up to kiss Seungmin on the forehead, cuddling up closer to him.

He could always clean up their mess of snacks later, but for now, he would stay all cozied up with the love of his life, even if he knew of the inevitable teasing from the others that would follow.

Sorry if this was short! I came to the realization that I can't necessarily write a one shot without some form of full plot yet I couldn't make up a plot. My brain somehow works like that.

I know I haven't updated ‘Fixated on You’ in a while but I was toying with the idea of starting a chat fic! I've started writing a one shot chat fic to see if I'm actually good at it though.

I love chat fics and feel like I've read every one out there so I wanna contribute by writing one! Please give me Straykids chat fic recommendations…
