To be honest, Seungmin believed that he could be exaggerating things, reading between the lines when the page itself was blank.

Yet, he could not rub off the weird behavior he has been observing in one of his closest friends, Jeongin.

Jeongin was someone he practically grew up with. Someone he spent the brightest and darkest moments of his life alongside. His fellow group member, whom he had found a place in the world with.

But Jeongin was only a friend, Seungmin was taken by another member, Hyunjin.

Hyunjin made Seungmin's darkest days seem sparkly and shiny. They both found comfort in each other and adored each other to the max.

And although their relationship may not be public, all the Straykids members and certain staff knew of it.

So why did it seem like his friend, Jeongin, was trying to come between him and his boyfriend, Hyunjin?

He had noticed it since the very first interaction when Jeongin claimed he needed help putting an outfit together. He walked into Seungmin's bedroom where he had been cuddling with Hyunjin and basically begged Hyunjin to come to his aid.

Then, Seungmin did not think much of it. Both of them had a great interest in fashion and tended to help the other put together an outfit.

But looking back and comparing that with the other events that followed, it certainly was not their typical interaction. At least not with Jeongin’s intentions.

Since that day, which was about a month or so ago, the youngest would constantly be seeking Hyunjin's presence for one thing or the other.

“Hyunjin, could you help me choose which outfit is best?”

“Hyunjin, are you busy? I wanted to watch this new show I found with you.”

“Hyunjin, can you paint with me? I wanted to start learning it for you, I mean you always talk about how you would love to have an art buddy.”

“Hyunjin, can you suggest any cute cafes I can go to for my vlog later in the day? Maybe you can take me there if you aren't busy… with Seungmin.”

The last one felt like a direct attack, as though Jeongin was sensing his inner turmoil and wanted to confirm his suspicions.

When the boy said the last two words, he looked straight into Seungmin's eyes almost as if saying, “Yes, I'm doing this on purpose to come between you and your boyfriend.”

And now, at present time, Seungmin was in the same predicament. He was bundled up in fluffy blankets, cuddling with Hyunjin as they watched a random movie play on the tele. The atmosphere was tranquil, and he caught himself almost falling asleep after hours of staying in such a comfortable position.

That was until, ofcourse, Jeongin decided to interrupt the moment.

Seungmin did not even know when the boy had entered the room, only noticing him when Hyunjin had started speaking, replying to something Jeongin had asked.

“Umm, sorry Innie, can't right now. Maybe tomorrow?” The oldest had said, barely moving as he raised his head to look up at the boy.

“But why not? You're not doing anything important right now and the coupons only last today.” Jeongin instead whined out upon the rejection, holding up a few coupon papers and strutting an exaggerated pout. Seungmin might have considered it to be cute, if he did not know that the intent was to try and convince his boyfriend to leave him.
