Another Fight

Chapter 25

With Ash and Pikahu (3rd person P.O.V)

"That guy sure was weird, I can't believe he doesn't know what a Pokemon is!" He scuffed the pavement with his feet. "And we're no closer to finding out where we are,"

"That is strange..." said Pikachu, "I do have a theory though,"

"What?"

"Remember Michael told us he came from a world without Pokemon?"

"Yeah, I-" Ash stopped walking and looked at Pikachu. "You think this might be where he came from?"

"It's just a guess," Pikachu sniffed the air from his perch on Ash's shoulder. "Hang on, I'm picking up something," Pikachu jumped off Ash's shoulder and started running.

"Hey! Wait up!" Yelled Ash as he ran to catch up with Pikachu.

After about a minute or two, Pikachu stopped in front of one of the houses.

"Michael's been here," said Pikachu, "I can tell,"

"Should I knock then?" asked Ash.

Pikachu shrugged. "Why not? Worst case they just call you an idiot and we leave,"

Ash groaned, but walked up and knocked on the door anyway. After a few seconds of waiting, a man who looked to be in his 40s opened the door.

"Can I help you, young man?"

Ash nodded. "Do you know someone named Michael? I've been looking for him all morning,"

A woman who looked around the same age stepped into the doorway. "You know Michael?"

"Yeah," said Ash, "do you know where he is?"

The man nodded. "He's our son,"

"Oh," said Ash, "you must be Michael's parents, Gerald and Lilly,"

Lilly looked at Ash suspiciously. "We are, but how did you know that?"

"Michael told me about you guys," said Ash, "I'm Ash from Pallet Town by the way,"

Gerald looked startled. "Are you the Ash?"

"I guess," said Ash, "I mean, I've never met anyone else with my name. Why?"

"Michael told us all about you," said Lilly.

Gerald nodded. "Thank you for taking care of our son,"

"It was no problem," said Ash, "but where is he?"

"He went out to the ocean this morning to look for a portal to the Pokemon world," said Gerald.

"When did he leave?" asked Ash.

"Only about a minute or two ago," said Lilly, "he went that way,"

"Okay thanks for your help!" said Ash before running in that direction.

"Do you think he'll catch up to Michael?" asked Lilly.

"Knowing Michael's bad sense of direction, he might," laughed Gerald.

With Michael (Michael's P.O.V.)

I heard a voice calling my name as I was about to swim to the portal. I quickly shot out of the water but stayed invisible just in case.

My brother shook himself off. "What was that all about?"
