Mm, I feel it most in the nighttime, yeah
Me never on your timeline, yeah
See you always in the limelight
Keep me rollin' in the deep, yeah
Not a tease, no joke, I do mean it
Don't cease, baby don't, why you floatin'?
Wanna lock you up in my sight
But you run away like fish, yeahI keep you right next to me (to me)
Only just in my dream (in my dream)
I see you in red, blue, green (oh, no)
Don't wake me up from sleep
I think I'm losin' my grip (my grip)
Everything off the beam
Why you showed up in my life
Like this so sudden, oh God, no

Luna's POV
I gasped as the familiar posters in their small coves along the grand auditorium came into view, and finally, I saw the surprise that Hope had planned for me.
My eyes filled with tears as I looked at the beautiful ballerinas in their white dresses, snowflake crowns, and golden letters across the top of the poster spelling out The Nutcracker. I felt Hope gently squeeze my hand and looked at him, my eyes glittering with emotion. I met his eyes, warm and soft, crinkling into a smile above his black mask.
"Hop-," I cut myself off, remembering too late that we needed to be incognito this afternoon, which meant I probably shouldn't be saying his name or any version of it aloud. I became aware of my surroundings and took a surreptitious look around. Still, everyone was laughing and talking with their family and friends, focused on getting into the building and not walking too close to the strangers around them. No one was looking at us. The masks, which usually were an annoyance, were a blessing today. It made it much harder for Hope to be recognized.
Relieved that no one seemed to be looking our way, I intentionally lowered my voice to ensure I didn't call any unnecessary attention to us again.
"I can't believe you did this." I looked up at him as we lined up, the queue small and moving quickly. He looked fantastic in his crisp gray suit, perfectly tailored so you could see how tiny his waist was, and his long legs looked like they went on for miles. When we'd first walked up to the auditorium from the parking lot, I'd noticed more than a couple of glances lingering on him from both men and women. At first, I'd been anxious, watching their faces for any sign of recognition. But it hadn't been recognition in their eyes but appreciation. I could tell he'd tried to dress plainly, not trying to stand out at all, but it didn't work. He couldn't help it if he was more beautiful than all the men surrounding him, and women for that matter. Of course, he was bound to draw stares. I felt warmth radiate through me at the thought that I had this gorgeous man all to myself, at least for the night.
"Thank you," I said, my voice breathy and small from trying to hide the emotion behind it. Trying to convey all my feelings to him through it, I returned his gentle squeeze and lifted my eyes to his. He looked down at me, brown eyes still warm and crinkled from the smile hidden underneath the black cloth covering his beautiful face. He winked, making my belly flop, and then leaned over.
His warm breath tickled my ear through the mask as he whispered low, "You're more than welcome, jagi."
My heart skipped, and I fought to control myself as my emotions threatened to overflow again through my eyes. I felt his thumb gently rubbing my wrist while he held my hand, making me feel slightly tingly. He had this way of touching me that felt intimate, even in public. His touches were always small and delicate but executed perfectly for maximum effect. It was like he had some map to all of my ultra-sensitive touch points on my body. No man before had ever picked up on this about me so quickly. It made me feel unsettled that I could be unraveled so easily.
