I woke up to my alarm the next day and laid in bed for a minute as the memories of last night resurfaced. Glimpses of Hope's face kept drifting in as I made myself sit up, knowing that between my sleepiness and the lovely thoughts in my head, I was in serious danger of drifting back off to sleep if I stayed laying down. I pulled my phone over and my stomach flopped to see Hope's name pop up on my missed texts.

I could feel myself smiling foolishly as I read it, but I found I didn't care much, as I hadn't felt this happy for more than six months.

I blushed deeply at that, remembering his lips on mine and the feel of his fingers on my neck. I couldn't argue with him and pretend that I wasn't glad I'd seen him last night either. But still...

my team has noticed a difference for sure. they keep mentioning it. 😅 seriously, thank you. I got the chance to apologize to Tae (the one I argued with) and really talk to him and he apologized to me as well. we're doing so much better now thanks to you. 😄
Warmth radiated in my chest. It felt amazing to do something for Hope for a change since he had been the only one keeping me afloat the last few days.
