Chan and Felix had taken a day to unpack all of their stuff and get settled since they had been staying for a pretty long time.Felix of course finished unpacking as quickly as he could and went back to looking at the scrap book and other things in Chan's room.
"You wanna go do something?" Chan asked once they had finally finished packing and eating so now they were just laying in bed.
"We don't have to, we've been pretty busy all day."
"Yeah, but we're only here for two weeks and I want you to be able to see everything you want to."
"Well, where would we go?"
"I was thinking that maybe we could go to mine and Minho's spot," Chan explained and Felix's eyes lit up
"I would love to, lets go right now!" Felix exclaimed and grabbed Chan's hand, pulling him out of the room.
"Lix, you're forgetting about shoes," Chan reminded before the younger could open the door.
They quickly put their shoes on and started walking to the park, Felix kept trying to walk ahead but Chan kept stopping him since the blonde had no idea where he was going.
"Just a fair warning, it's a park we went to a lot when we were little so it's really ran down. They opened a new one down the corner years ago so people stopped going to this one."
"Well, I've heard that it's still really pretty," Felix smiled.
Chan wasn't sure why he waited to late to ask Felix if he wanted to go, the sun was already setting and it was going to be getting dark pretty soon.
They arrived at the small ran down park. It was exactly how Chan remembered it and exactly how Felix had imagined it.
Flowers bloomed everywhere around them and Chan pulled Felix to sit next to him in what used to be his and Minho's spot.
The plastic covered them and they leaned their backs against the cave like structure, taking in the view. Chan remembered all of the times he had there while Felix tried envisioning them.
"I can't believe I'm finally here," Felix smiled as he laid his head against Chan's shoulder.
"This is the first time I've been here since Minho passed away...I'm really glad that it's with you."
"Did you bring the journal?"
"Yeah but-"
"Can I please see it?" Felix asked and Chan handed it to him.
Hey, it's Minho
i told Chan that I was sick today. There was really no more avoiding it considering that I can't really go to school anymore, I can barely walk without loosing my breath, and i've been coughing up blood. With all the sadness and sickness i've been feeling you'd think that I've seen and felt the worst of the worse but Chan's eyes when I told him hurt worse than anything and everything I've felt so far. I've never seen someone's mood change the quickly, I've never seen someone look so concerned and scared. Yet somehow, telling him provided me with some sort of comfort, at least I don't feel like I'm alone in this anymore and I can be honest with him. Maybe it's because we hugged and both cried for hours but something about finally telling him felt good even though I wish I never had to.
I love you Chan.Felix curiously flipped the page and saw that the next one is blank.
"The last thing he wrote to me was that paper you saw earlier," Chan explained with a small sigh as he put the journal back in his bag.
"It felt like that journal was never supposed to end," Felix explained as he looked up to see that it was now completely dark outside.
"I wish that were the case," Chan said with a small smile. "I'd love to be sitting here with both."
"I would love that too," Felix replied, hearing the sound of rain hitting the plastic above them. "Oh."
"Hmm...think it's a sign?" Chan asked as he shoved his bag into the back corner to keep the journal safe and offered Felix his hand. "Would you like to dance."
"I would love to," Felix said, standing up in the pouring rain with him.
