"Chan, can we hang out when I get off of work?" Felix asked, his shift had already been stressful since people were being rude for no reason, he just wanted to be able to not think about any of it when his shift was finally over.
"Why else do you think I'm here?" Chan asked, looking up from his laptop for a second to show Felix a small smile.
"What are you doing anyways?" Felix asked, peaking at his laptop which Chan quickly shut.
"Nothing."
"What do you mean nothing? That was suspicious."
"It's a surprise, don't worry about it."
"Fine," Felix frowned at him, "15 more minutes," he said as he walked back behind the counter, referring to the time he had before his shift was over.
Once Felix's shift was over he sat down at the table with Chan, sipping on a drink that he had made himself.
"Are you not going to tell me what you were doing on your laptop?" Felix asked as the older put his laptop in his bag and stood up, Felix immediately followed.
"I'll show you," Chan said, grabbing Felix's hand, and leading him out of the cafe.
"Are you taking me to the airport?"
"Why would we be going to the airport?" Chan asked, tilting his head, and glancing at Felix.
"So we can go to Korea."
"Would you want to do that? I don't think that's something I could plan without talking to you at all about it first."
"I wouldn't care."
"I think you would," Chan laughed, "maybe we can plan to go there together one day.
"It's unavoidable. I'm gonna go see you whenever you move back."
"You know, there's some really cute cafes in Korea as well?" Chan asked suddenly, causing Felix's face to turn red.
"I wouldn't. I don't remember anything about it," Felix replied, trying to ignore that it almost seemed like Chan had implied that he should move back with him when he did leave.
Felix was aware that Chan was most likely joking, and for him to do that would be insane. However, after spending just a few days away from Chan, he didn't know how he would last a few months, besides, Chan was right, there are cute cafes everywhere there. The only thing his life consisted of before Chan had come was going on a bunch of meaningless dates and there was definetly no going back to that.
"I'm not planning on going back anytime super soon."
"Then what were you suspiciously doing?"
"Nothing."
"Chan," Felix said, glaring at him.
"It's embarrassing."
"What is it?"
"We're here," Chan pointed out, and Felix laughed at the building he was pointing to.
