Waiting For You/ Chanlix

It became a daily routine for Felix to read a page from Minho's journal. He thought that maybe it would feel awkward but it didn't.

He felt like he was getting to know Minho, therefore getting to know Chan a lot better too.

Due to Minho's age and short attention span during the time that he wrote in the journal, there were months at a time missing.

The page that he ready today was from when Minho was 11.

"Hi! It's Minho. Today was Chan's birthday but I had a dance thing. I was sad that it was gonna mess Chan's birthday plans but he canceled everything and came to my dance performance. He said that he wouldn't want to do anything else. Is it too soon to say that I love someone? He makes me feel nauseous in a good way and I miss him even though I just saw him. Is something wrong with me?"

"He danced?" Felix asked once he was finished reading, looking down at Chan who had his head in his lap.

"He loved dancing and he was really really good at it," Chan explained with a small smile on his face. It may have seemed strange but slowly getting through the journal seemed to be helping a lot. It felt nice that someone else got to read it as well, understand what their relationship was like.

"Do you like dancing?"

"I used to help Minho practice sometimes but I'm not great at it. Do you?"

"Mhm."

"Really?"

"I sometimes go to a studio by the coffee shop. You can come with me one day if you want."

"I would love to. It's a date," Chan said and Felix's heart skipped a beat. He felt like it was finally time to ask properly, that's pretty much what they've been doing for the past few weeks anyways, just without the official title.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I am," Chan said with a soft smile.
