TAYLOR'S POV
We're at the superbowl. Chiefs vs 49ers. I'm in the VIP suite when all of a sudden I feel something wet drip down my leg. I turn to find Donna Kelce.
"Donna, I-I think my water broke," I pant.
"Oh sweetie, let's get you down to the medical team," Donna says. I nod and Donna takes my hand. She leads me down to the field and we walk over to Andy. "We need the medical team."
"Donna, our medical team can't handle a baby, they're for sprained ankles and wrists," Andy says looking between the two of us.
"I can't wait, Donna I feel like the babies coming," I say tears starting to form. Andy sighs.
"Get her sitting on the bench, I'll have the medical team come over in a second. Travis! You're out of the game!" Andy shouts.
"Andy! Why? I was doing great!" Travis says coming onto Andy.
"Your girl Trav," Andy points back to me.
"Oh my god, Tay, what's wrong?" Travis asks. I shake my head and try to breathe.
"Her water broke, she's in labor and there's not enough time to drive to the hospital," Donna explains. Travis nods and kneels in front of me.
"Let's go into a back room, there will be more privacy and the medical team is here, okay? You'll be okay Tay," Travis says. He scoops me into his arms and carries me to a room hidden from everybody else. I start to cry as I lay down. "Shh, I'm right here Tay. It'll be okay." A medical lady comes over and checks me.
"You're only 5 cm dilated Taylor, you could make it to the hospital if you hurried," She says. I shake her head.
"I don't want to. Can't I just push out the baby now?" I beg. The lady laughs.
"That's not how it works, I recommend walking around a lot, bounce up and down on an exercise ball, it'll get the baby moving more," The lady says. I gulp and start to cry again.
"I can't stand up," I say to Travis.
"Yes you can, I'm right here," Travis says.
"But it's the superbowl, please go play," I say.
"I'm not leaving you alone to give birth Taylor. I don't care what you say. I'm not leaving you," Travis says. I nod.
"Thank you," I whisper. He helps me to my feet and we start to walk around the little room in circles. We then do some squats before I gasp again.
"Contractions sweetie," Travis says.
TRAVIS' POV
Taylor nods. We do a few more squats before Taylor starts sobbing.
"Trav, t-the baby, I-I can't hold it in," Taylor sobs.
"Okay, it'll be okay," I help Taylor back onto the hospital bed before calling the doctor back in. She checks Taylor and sighs.
"Taylor, you're only 9 cm dilated, we have to wait until you're 10," The doctor says. Taylor screams and reaches out for my arms.
"You'll be okay, I'm right here Taylor, I'm right here," I say trying to calm her.
"Alright well now she's 10, are you ready?" The doctor asks. Taylor shakes her head suddenly. I rub her head lightly and kiss her forehead.
"You can do it Tay, you can do it," I say.
"No I can't."
"Yes you can, Taylor you can do it, I'm right here," I take her hand and she squeezes like she never has before.
"Taylor, when I say push I need you to push," The doctor says. Taylor shakes her head. "If you don't push you're going to kill your baby." Taylor gulps and nods. "Alright, push!" Taylor pushes, and squeezes my hand as tight as she can. *30 minutes later* "Alright, one more huge push Taylor. You've got it!" Taylor sobs again but pushes. "It's a girl!" Taylor sobs and I wrap my arms around her.
"You are so brave sweetie, so so brave, I'm so proud," I say. Taylor smiles a little and exhales. The doctor hands the baby to Taylor and Taylor sniffs.
"What do we name her?" Taylor asks.
"What do you want to name her?" I ask.
"Maybe, Alia," Taylor whispers.
"Alia Marjorie Kelce-Swift, it's perfect," I whisper.
"Marjorie?" Taylor asks. I nod. "I love you so much Trav. You are the best." Taylor leans up to me and I give her a light kiss.
"I love you more Tay, you are so so brave." We leave the room maybe 30 minutes later and sit on a bench next to the field. Taylor is bundled in a blanket and leaning on my shoulder. Baby Alia is in the back with Donna, since Donna refused to let us stay back there the whole game. I wrap my arm around Taylor's waist and take her hand. I squeeze lightly again. The fourth quarter has 2 minutes left and we are tied.
"Chiefs are going to win," Taylor mumbles. I smile and ruffle her hair.
"Hopefully," I whisper.
"No, they are winning, I know it," Taylor says again. I laugh but don't argue. I kiss the top of her head lightly. The ball gets run down the field by Patrick and we score the final touchdown. I look down at Taylor jaw dropped.
"How'd you know?" I ask.
"I'm just so smart," Taylor says with a smile.
"You're so amazing Tay," I say. She giggles and kisses me.
"I love you." Taylor whispers.
"I love you more Tay."
