Ace let that slide.... For now.... As the freshmen and Trey continued making the chestnut tart.

3rd POV

"Okay, now we just sprinkle on a little powdered sugar, and..."

"FINISHED!" Ace and Grim enthusiastically shouted, while Deuce followed along, but it was more down and disappointed.

"Fin.... ished..."

"Did something happened?" Ace quietly questioned Yuu, who just softly shook his head.

"Just let him be....." As Yuu looked at the devastated Deuce, "For now...." He added, which Ace just hummed but still curious about it.

"For sixteen years..." Deuce muttered, looking like he's questioning his entire existence.

"Yeah, whatever. I'm pretty beat. Making tarts sure takes it outta you." Ace exclaimed, as he rotate his shoulder.

Ace then turned to look at Amir, who was cleaning his hand with a clean cloth.

"You finished?" Ace asked curiously, as he slowly walked toward him.

Amir just made a quick glance at him, before nodding softly.

"Yep, all I gotta do is deliver them." The brunet with white hair strand spoke, as he let Ace take a look on the three different types of fruit tarts.

Ace was mesmerize by the tarts, it was well decorate, smells good, and everything looks so amazing.

"Now I'm questioning if you really don't know how to make tarts." Trey interrupt, making Ace jump slightly at the sudden appearance of Trey behind him.

"Jeez-! Give me some heads-up, before you appeared behind me." Ace complained, as he have his hand on where his heart is.

Trey just chuckled at this, but gave him an apology.

And before Amir could response, Cater appeared.

"Hey fam! You look wrecked. Are the tarts done? Ooh, those look sooo cute!" He complemented the baked tart that Trey and the Freshies made, as he took out his phone.

"Lemme snap a quick pic for Magicam!" And click, Cater took a picture.

But before he could post it, he saw Amir's baked goods.

Cater gasp, as he walked toward where the tarts that Amir have made. "Holy- that's look amazing, Amir."

The three tarts have different types of fruits decorate the tops, and each of it was glistening like jewelry.

Cater did took a photo of it, he is not letting a good baked tarts go without any photo of it.

But of course, Ace slightly whined. "What, NOW you decide to show up?"

Cater the just gave him a little wink, and spoke. "I just came to see how hard my little newbs were working."

Before it could go worse, Trey interrupted them.

"It's tough work if you're not used to it. But there's no better cure for the ails of fatigue than something sweet from the oven!" He then used his magic to help gave each one of them a slice of chestnut tart, "Help yourself to some of this tart."

With that Ace, Cater and Grim made a loud "Yay!", and grateful took the plate Trey hand it out to them.

Also Yuu and Deuce accepted it as well, while Trey also gave Amir one as well, much for his surprise.
