Reena was busy relaxing in her library, curled up with a good book. She laid against Rocky, back resting against his chest as she nuzzled her head into his shoulder.
Rocky's arms protectively wrapped around her, the warmth of the blanket along with her body making him feel fuzzy on the inside.
Rocky, resting his head on top of hers, let out a barely concealed sigh. He wasn't sure if it was the book or just the way she got so lost in it, but he was definitely more interested in watching her than listening to the story.
"-and so, Racheal danced gracefully, her eyes tracing to Michael at every beat- and" Reena's eyes flickered up, only to see Rocky, eyes barely open.
She jerked away, slamming the book shut, the noise causing Rocky's eyes to flutter open. Reena frowned, crossing her arms across her chest and Rocky shook his head in a desperate attempt to cheer her up.
"I wasn't sleeping Chinna i swear- keep Reading baby" he started but was cut off when Reena playfully threw a cushion in his direction.
"Liar, i saw you sleeping. Dont think you can fool me" Reena huffed and Rocky sighed, running a hand through his hair.
He held his hands up, surrendering and Reena pouted. "Okay fine i was, but i mean, how do you read this without sleeping" Rocky argued and Reena bit back a smile, leaning over and ruffling his hair like a child.
"Because i find it interesting. When you grow up around books, they become a companion" Reena said and Rocky nodded understandingly.
"Fine i wont bore you anymore, we will do something else" Reena said, feeling a little bad for her husband who had taken time off to spend with her.
Rocky smirked, pulling her back into his arms and wrapping his arms around her body. "Then let your dear husband sleep" Rocky said, closing his eyes and Reena laughed from his chest.
She wrapped her arms around his torso and pulled the blanket around their bodies, sealing them in warmth.
They cuddled on the sofa for a while until Rocky was fast asleep, the sound of his soft snores filling the room.
Quickly after Reena felt her eyes closing and just as she was engulfed to sleep, the phone rang. The loud ringing startled her awake and she groaned, pulling her arms away from Rocky and was about to get up when Rocky stopped her.
"Where are you going Chinna?" Rocky mumbled-half asleep and Reena sighed, pointing at the phone that was continuously ringing.
"Leave it- whatever it is we will deal with it later, now come back to sleep" Rocky said, pulling Reena back in to his arms.
She nuzzled her head into his neck, inhaling the muscular scent. Just as predicted the sound of the phone slowly died away, leaving the room in a peaceful silence.
Around 20 minutes past and the two of them were now fast asleep. However it was ruined as the sound of the phone echoed once again.
Frustration and anger filled them as Rocky laid Reena down, standing up and walking over to the phone.
