It had been 2 months since Rocky and Reena's visit to the prime minister's office and Ramika was working around the clock to try catch them.
Ramika stood by the window, her silhouette tense and unforgiving. Her sharp eyes followed the raindrops sliding down the glass, but her mind was elsewhere—on one man.
Rocky
A predator who had become too powerful, too untouchable. Despite all her efforts—laws, force, diplomacy—he remained a shadow over the nation, a threat to her authority.
The CBI stood quietly in the corner, watching her calculated moves. "Ive been too soft, maybe he's right. In order to beat a criminal, you have to think like one. Maybe i should get ahead of him. Play dirtier" she said and Raghavan crinkled his eyes.
"What do you have planned madam, we tried everything" Raghavan argued. Reena's betrayal still stung deep. She had been a pillar to the CBI and her absence had really shown itself.
Ramika smirked to herself, crossing her arms across her chest. "As long as Rocky is alive, he will always have power. So what if we get rid of him......forever" she said and everyone's eyes widened.
"Your planning to kill him" Raghavan muttered. The government wasn't new to dirty work like this.
But if the public found out about this, especially trying to kill someone like Rocky, could detrimentally affect Ramika's career.
"Yes. If he wants fire, he should endure the burns. I can easily hire someone to finish his case" Ramika said in disgust.
"This isn't any ordinary person we're dealing with. Its Rocky, if he finds out, he'll ruin everything" Raghavan warned but Ramika didn't care.
"I dont care i want him gone" Ramika slammed her fist against the table and all froze, the seriousness in her voice cutting through the air.
"Your empire comes to an end now, Rocky" she whispered to herself and the office scattered, all prepared for hell to go loose.

The sun hung low in the sky, streaking shades of gold and lavender across the horizon as Rocky pulled into his driveway.
It had been a long day—one of those days that felt like any other, marked by meetings and work in the mines.
With a sigh, he turned off the engine and stepped out, shrugging of his blazer as he headed toward the front door.
But before he could reach it, the door swung open. Reena stood there, a playful smile curling her lips, her dark eyes gleaming in the fading light. She wore his favourite blue saree, the one that always made his heart skip a beat.
"Happy birthday Rocky boy" she said, her smile gleaming more than the sun.
Rocky's expression softened as he took her in his arms, he almost forgot the fact that it was his birthday.
Without another word, Rocky kissed her, slow and sweet, the kind of kiss that says everything without needing to speak. When he pulled back, his smile was brighter than the stars starting to twinkle around them.
He looked down at her, his eyebrows rising. "So, what's my gift?" he asked teasingly and she pulled away, twirling in her saree.
"Me, I'm your gift duh. Having a hot wife is no joke" she teased back and Rocky let out a deep chuckle, kissing her lips.
"Well then, isn't this the best gift ever. I think i should celebrate it" he whispered near her ear, his hand snaking around her waist. Reena fluttered but quickly held composure.
