Chapter 8: Lucas' second day

Lucas woke up and realized that he was alone, he sat up in his bed,  "Did i oversleep?" he thought he huried and changed into his new clothes.  "At least i can look good, even if i don't feel like it" he thought he headed out and looked at a clock, Breakfast was starting soon! he was going to be late, he hurried through the dorms and saw Iain standing next to a pillar with his hand on it, eyes closed, was he sleeping? no he opened his eyes and started towards the door.  Lucas ran ahead and stood next to Iain as they lined up "Strange, they act like we are soldiers" he thought .  He walked with the group, he assumed they were going to the Dine at night. Sure enough they arrived and he sat down next to Iain to eat. He noticed Iain kept glancing at Alee and Izzy but mentioned nothing.  He also noticed that Jazlyn was talking to a red eyed girl, he caught her name Alyssa, A pretty name.  After breakfast they headed to history with some military commander named Jeriah, he tuned out history was not his thing.  He noticed that Iain in front of him and next to him were Jazlyn, Izzy, and Alee.  He wondered if he sat there on purpose.  After History they headed to a room with large doors. A man in a white robe greeted them. "I am Dg Worker." he said "I am to tell you that beyond these doors are your second classes, you may only chose one. Starting with the left there is: Wizardy, Whichary, Ars Magica, Thaumcraft, And Bloodmagic." Lucas turned to the right, Blood magic felt right, in his vision he almost drowned in a sea of blood. He headed that way.  Inside he saw that the walls were flowing with blood and placed perfectly around the room were alters. At the center was a man that looked like Jeriah. "Hello I am Jericho, And i'm going to teach you blood magic.  Blood magic is easily the most dangerous magic because it uses your life force.  Today you will all be attuned to a blood orb. He picked one up, "For a ball of blood it is surprisingly hard" he thought "Ok now that you have picked up your orbs" Jericho began "You will have to give them blood" he held up a knife "You all have one, now stab yourself" He held up the knife and stabbed his chest. Blood squirted out and was magicly moved to the orb. in less then a second it was full and his chest was healed. They finished the blood magic lesson and they were told to go to the door on their right. Entering the classroom Lucas was little uneasy seeing the few mianitees sitting down. Right before he was about to sit down a couple of the mianitees threw some glue type substance that went all over and him and the dianitees. "Iain hold me back before I kill them!" Lucas shouted. Thinking it was probably a good idea Iain grabed Lucas. "Lucas settle down,we will get he back" Iain said fiercly. The class began and the teacher introduced himself at Tom Syndicate but to just call him syndi. He explained the rules of pranking and where they couldnt do it. After pranking class they all the dianitees moved along to lunch so they walked back over to the fine-at-night. Lucas went over to Iain and sat beside him and they ate lunch together the food there was only as good as food can get. After lunch they went to a big classroom with smelteries on both sides of the class. "Hello,I'm mot and welcome to smeltery class. Since today is your first class you will need to design a weapon!" At this paper was handed out to everyone. Lucas thought about it for a second before deciding a cutlass would be the best it was a manulen cutlass that was sharpened by making the sharp side very slim. After smeltery class was finished the dianitees were directed to the Fighting class. This was taught by Steve. "Allo mates this is fighting class where I'm going teach you to right rumble everyone get a mate" Steve said. Lucas was paired with Iain and he saw that Alyssa was paired with Alee! They started to fight but it was stopped unbruptly because supposedly Alyssa knocked Alee out with one punch! "Dang that girl can fight" Lucas thought. After the condition was over fighting class was done and the day was over. So Lucas headed back to the dorm with Iain being Lucas,he was naturally tired and went to bed.
