Chapter 10: Katherine's second day

Katherine woke up early and got out her favorite book,  A Question of Magic, and sat down in a purple loveseat in the main room.  She saw the new kid, Edward walk past her, he nodded his head in her direction and she returned it.  After she had finished with her chapter, she headed to the cafeteria, Dine-at-Night, for breakfast. She was the only one at her table, but presumed that Edward had already eaten and sat down for breakfast. After that, she headed of for World History.  She had already heard most of what was being said before, so she kinda tuned out for the most part. After history, they walked down the hall to where the DG Worker was standing. She watched as the new guys chose their classes. She had already chosen sometime before and walked through the Witchery door. She took her seat in the middle seat in the second row down. Her teacher, Captain Sparklez or Jordan as he preferred, nodded at her as she sat down. Once every one  had taken their seats, Jordan started. "Hello My name is Jordan, But you can call me Sparklez, Captain Sparklez." he was inerupted by a random Mianitee, "Captain of what?" An Ianitee spoke up, "Captain of the sparklez. Duh!" Sparklez continued, "Anyway, here you will learn witchery and how to do the voo-doo." Sparklez continued to explain what witchery can be used for.  Once they were dismissed she headed to pranking. Pranking was probably her least favorite class. She had a bad history with it. so she ended up falling asleep. Afterwards was lunch where she sat  at the head of the main table. Everyone else chatting about random things.  Nothing she wanted to talk about however and she ate her lunch quickly.  After lunch was Smelting, Mot her favorite teacher began speaking about weapons and the purge.  Katherine already knew what she wanted and when the paper was passed to her she began.  It was a beautiful two handed long sword with purple leather strips for the handle and a slightly curved blade.  Afterwards was purge training,  After Steve's speech she was paired up with another Iainite. Before she could fight though Steve stopped them all One of her ianitees was knocked out by a Dianitee, the brat Alyssa! she headed back to the dorms with her group, planning revenge.
