I woke up to the unpleasant sound of screaming. The first thing I thought was 'It has started.' I ran into my magic mirror and grabbed everything I needed. When I walked back out I put an alter on the ground and started drawing glyphs around it. When I finished drawing the glyphs I threw a few ingredients in the middle causing a dome to form around the room. I needed to perform this rite of protection in order to keep my magic mirror safe. Anyways I used my infusion of the Otherwhere to teleport out of the dome and into the hallway. There were Ianitees running up and down the hallways. Everybody was panicking. The sound of gunshots could be heard from miles away.

"Everybody calm down! We need to evacuate to the cave in an orderly fashion!" Jordan yelled. It seemed to take effect as people started running and screaming in the direction of the cave.

"That seemed to have kinda worked" I said to Jordan. He nodded and responded with.

"You alright?"

"Yeah I'm fine. Actually I'm ready to kick some ass!" I fist pumped the air. Jordan just looked at me with a worried expression.

"I'm not allowing you to do that. I can't just let a student fight in a war!" Jordan yelled.

"Geez why not I can handle myself." I showed Jordan one of my mirrors.

"No you can't! Are you insane!" He tried to grab my shoulders to shake some sense into me but his hands got caught in my invisible string.

"For the record yes I'm probably insane." I pull on the strings and Jordan's hands clamp together.

"What the heck is this? Magic?" Jordan asks as he tries to free his hands from the string.

"Not magic but string." I break the string and he pulls his hands away. There are red lines from where the strings were.

"I thought you just used mirrors and a bit of magic." Said Jordan as he looked at his wrists.

"Nope I rarely use magic in combat. I prefer mirrors and string. I say as I start walking to the cave.

"So have you changed your mind on fighting?" He asks. I shake my head and continue walking.

"I can smell the blood of some Mianite soldiers heading towards the cave. They are using some secret entrance or something." I say as I walk down the stairs. Jordan's eyes go wide and he runs ahead of me.

"Hey wait up!" I yell as I pick up the pace. Before I know it we are standing in front of a sewer system that leads into the corner of the cave.

"Can you smell any blood?" Jordan asks. I nod my head and Jordan walks into the sewer system with me following behind him. It's abandoned and completely drained of water. After walking for a couple minutes we see about 4 soldiers walking towards us. As soon as they see us they fire. Big Mistake. Jordan draws his sword and deflects all the bullets. He rushes towards a guy on the left as I slam a mirror against the wall. It shatters into the shape of a dagger. I take it and throw it at a guys neck while he's distracted with Jordan. Jordan then slices the head off of the guy he was going after. 2 down 2 more to go. Jordan rushes another guy on the left. The other Mianite soldier on the right fires at me. His bullets don't reach me. To him it looks like his bullets just stopped mid air but what really happened was they hit a wall of blade string. I then broke another mirror and threw the shard at his forehead. It was a direct hit and it went through his head. A couple seconds later Jordan stabs the heart of the soldier he was occupied with.

"Damn these guys suck" I say as I kick one of their corpses.

"Yeah I agree." Jordan responds.
