I woke up Sunday morning to a large crashing sound and lots of people yelling. I quickly pulled on jean shorts and a purple shirt. I hastily put my hair up in a high pony, grabbed my sword and ran out the door. Before I left the Ianitee dorms, I called out to make sure that OB was on. I had bonded a lot with the little guy and had done some upgrades to him. He now was voice activated. I had named him Harry. "Hey Harry, Ya there?" I asked to what seemed like empty space. Then I saw goggles appear in front of me and a deep, mechanical, but almost human, voice saying, "Yea I'm here. What's the rush? Are we teaching today our something?" he answered. That was when I realized. I was teaching today! With all of the teachers helping out with the war, some of the older students were teaching class. I was supposed to be teaching Witchery today. Autumn was very capable of teaching, but we didn't want her sucking anyone's blood. Quickly Harry and I ran out the door, not even noticing the trip wire right in front of us. "Katherine, look out!" Harry cried, but to no avail as a pie proceeded to hit me in the face. That's when it started. A mianitee ran at me shouting threats, and Harry strangled him. I would slice one down as they were trying to catch the floating goggles. Having OB as a friend isn't that bad I thought as we made our way towards the Witchery room. Though we doubted that anyone would show. Then as we turned the cornner, I saw something. Something that started a war. Something unforgivable. I saw Sterling stab an unarmed, defenseless girl. As she fell to the ground I heard Alyssa screaming at Sterling. "YOU KILLED HER! AN INNOCENT, DEFENSELESS GIRL IS NOW DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU!" I just stood there. So this is what happened, I thought to myself. While I was knocked out. Mianite has started a war.

Just then I heard a voice that sounded every so slightly like Sterling say, "Don't you get it? This is war! Us Minatees are tired of bowing down and obeying you Dianitees and Ianitees. So will anyone else step up and share the same fate as this girl?!" He asked with a devilish grin. When there was no reply he said, "Fine then I'll pick for you. I choose Jazlyn. So will anyone step up to take her place?"

Alyssa stepped up to stand next to Jazlyn. "Nobody is going to take her place. Because we are all going to fight for her!"

That is when Harry yelled out something very unlike himself. "I won't bow to you Sterling! Or any of you Mianitees! You hear me? We will fight for not just Jazlyn, but for all of us! And no crazed lunatic like you is going to stop us!" At this a cheer rose up from the crowd as we all stepped up to defend Jazlyn. I readied my teleporter, and that is when all hell broke loose. I was jumped by a mianitee called Darrock, who was in turn stabbed by a Dianitee named James. And on it went. After I had twisted my ankle and gotten stabbed in the arm twice. Harry grabbed me and took me to the sick bay to get cleaned up. While he was tending my wounds, I asked him. "Why did you do it?"

"Do what?" He asked innocently. As if he didn't know, but I played along.

"Why did you stand up to Sterling like that? And defend Jazlyn? I thought that you didn't care about that kind of thing. That you thought that we were all equal and should be treated the same."

"I do believe that, yes," he answered. "But I also know that anyone who is crazy enough to give his life just to start a war, to kill innocent people. Is no person at all."

I smiled to myself as we walked back to the main room. Knowing that somehow, the true Spirt of Peace, Truth and Justice had tunneled into his robot soal. As we sat down I noticed that Izzy was also there. She also was different. Since Eddie had left, she had become a dragon tamer and gone with a more bad girl look. I was thinking to myself about how much had changed when Dianite himself walked into the room. "I have a favor to ask," he said. "It will be a dangerous but important mission. That is all that I can say for now." I was stunned as I saw Iain, Lucas, Andor, Tyler, and a few others step forward. But I understood. I would have stood to if not for the tight grip that Harry was keeping on my arm to keep me from going. I watched as they all walked out. Wondering if they would return.

When they came back they looked terrible. Tyler was limping, being supported by Iain. Lucas' arm was covered in blood. But that wasn't all, I noted as I realized, Andor was gone. Alee had to be put to sleep to be kept quite. Izzy went with her. At that moment was when I realized just how pointless the whole thing was. All the dieing, blood shed and loss. It was worth less. As I headed back to my room to sleep. I couldn't help but smile at the fact that I would be safe tonight as Harry watched over me.
