Chapter 72: Autumn's Mid-Purge

The horn sounded for the purge to begin. Again, I didn't have time for this shit. I turned away from everyone as they ran to kill. Wandering around until I found what I was looking for, a large chasm ,and jumped . It didn't hurt too Much , and I respawned into the viewing arena but left it. I had more important things to do.

I wanted to prank someone. Someone special. Someone like , oh, I don't know. Dianite. I knew exactly how I would do it too. First, however, I needed some supplies. I walked back to my room and got the first couple things. A couple pieces of bread, some gunpowder. After that I walked out.

I went out of the school and walked through the woods. Looking at the trees as they passed. My first stop was a cave. I traveled down it looking for a slime. There were a couple zombies and skeletons. I wasn't interested in them, No blood. I walked all the way down the cave and found no slimes. It was a boring task. I walked out of the cave and went to another. Still no slimes.

Then I realized, ah durr , Justin had liquid slime at his place. So I went there. I walked to his place and got down. " Hello Autumn" He said "Here for some more training?"

"Maybe later Justin right now I have business" I replied and grabbed the liquid slime. "Alright bye" I left. I walked back to the school and got to my room. I started my work. I placed the ingredients together and let them bake. I heard a great cheer. The purge had ended apparently. I wondered who won.

The purge ending also meant I had to hurry. Luckily the exploding pie had finished baking. I took it out of the oven with my hand very delicately. Encasing it in the explosion proof foil, I rushed to Dianites office. Placing it on his desk. I heard footsteps behind me. 'SHIT!their coming' I thought. I rushed into the broom closet. Just in time too, as at that moment Dianite entered with Izzy. Izzy had won the purge apparently. They started to have a conversation. I tuned it out for the most part but I did hear that Izzy had gotten a dragon. Also that dianite had told her to listen in to his and Eddie's conversation. Apparently it would be interesting.

Izzy left and Eddie entered. He had won the purge too. I listened to Eddie as he asked Dianite how the war was going. I personally didn't care but apparently Eddie did. I didn't understand him, he was interested in boring things and he worried about things that didn't matter.

Eddie asked Dianite to join the Ianite Navy. What an idiot. I would never voluntarily be thrown out to die. Who knows, maybe Eddie wants to be killed. Like I said I never understood him. Dianite reluctantly agreed and Eddie thanked him. I heard something else too, with my vampire hearing . It sounded like Izzy crying. And footsteps, like running. Izzy crying while running away?

Anyway Eddie left and Dianite turned . Now for the fun part. "What's this? " I heard him say as he grabbed the pie . I smiled as I heard the foil being unwrapped. "Oh a pie, must be from Glitterlap' Dianite said. At that moment he touched the pie and a load bang ensued. The exploding pie sent slime everywhere. "WHAT THE HELL!?" Dianite yelled. He was completely covered in slime. I rushed out of the closet and out the door , he heard me but couldn't see me as his vision was blocked with slime. "Who's that !!?" He yelled. I was long gone. I got into the Ianite dorms and laughed. When I had got all of that out of my system I walked into my room. Alee was there with Izzy, who was crying. I didn't feel like dealing with that so I just nodded and walked into my mirror when they weren't looking. I got some blood out of my mini fridge and drank it. It hadn't been a bad day. I thought about what would happen tomorrow and then went to work. I had things to do with witchery. That's what I did the night if the midpurge.
