Chapter 106- Izzy: Love Triangles

"Ahem."
Izzy froze.
Right behind Alee and Andor was someone.
Someone who really shouldn't have seen all that.
Someone who should be six feet underground right now.

Eddie.

He was just standing there, his Ianite Corps uniform in tatters, a scar on his head from the bullet. He still looked dead.
"It seems that I was resurrected at an unfavorable time, so I'm just going to go and lay in my bed . See you all."
Izzy noticed on his way out he chucked a letter into the fire but it missed the flames. As Greg left to go and grab a T-shirt, and Alee and Andor went up to their separate dorms, Izzy grabbed the letter out of the fire.
It was addressed to her, she realised, her stomach doing a nervous back flip. It was dated for a few weeks ago. It read:

Dear Izzy.

You wouldnt believe the type of shit that's going in out here. Smells, sights, horrors that you don't wanna think about most time. Its pretty bad out here. I guess I just, am ready to go home now. Go back. To you. Because you see Izzy I...

I love you.
I know that in my last letter I said I didn't need you but that was just in case I .. Well.. You know. Im sorry, that I didn't turn around to look at you, when I was leaving. I was just scared is all. Scared that if I did look at you, I wouldn't be able to leave you. I had to see, but if I had looked back, I would have just took your hand and stayed.

The Captain says we have to move out. Going up the damn hill again. I'll write you soon. And Darling, I just want you to know. The world is ugly, I've seen this to the extreme, but you. You're beautiful to me.
