SELENE [BOOK 2]

CHAPTER 38

Ikaapat na araw na namin rito sa resort ni Nico, and I can say that it was very peaceful here. Marami kaming mga activities na ginawa. My skin got a little bit tan, and also Solene. But we didn't mind it, though. We love it.

Now, we're here in the beach. Nakatanaw ako kay Nico at Lucas na nag je-jetski. Angkas ni Nico ang anak habang si Steve naman ay angkas si Solene. I can hear them from here that they're teasing each other, especially Lucas and Solene. I was just smilingly watching them from where I was standing.

It's already 4 pm in the afternoon, and we'll be eating dinner at one of the restaurants in this resort.

“Mommy! You try it!” sigaw ni Solene na halatang natutuwa. Huminto si Steve sa harapan ko.

Nakatitig ito sa akin habang nakangiti. “Come on, Selene.” Steve said.

I shook my head. “Hindi na,” tanggi ko.

Imbes na makinig ay bumaba lang si Solene sa pagkaka angas kay Steve sa jetski at hinila ako.

“Solene, stop it,” natatawang saway ko.

“Palagi ka na lang pong tumatanggi! Masaya po! Try niyo mommy!” Bumusangot ito.

Nakonsensya naman ako. “Sige na nga,” napipilitang wika ko.

I'm just wearing a white see-through, and beneath it was my blue bikini.

“Don't worry, you'll not fall,” Steve assured me. Nilahad nito ang kamay sa akin kaya tinanggap ko ito.

Inalalayan ako ni Steve at Solene na sumakay sa likod ni Steve. Steve guided my hands to hug his waist.

“Dahan dahan lang, Steve! Kapag ako nahulog!” banta ko.

He chuckled. “Noted, madam,” he teased.

Napatili ako ng paandarin na niya ang jetski. He was laughing while I was scared. Hindi ko napigilan at nahampas ko ang likod nito. “Steve! You're making fun of me!” sigaw ko.

May tumatalsik na tubig sa mukha ko kaya napatawa ako. Biglang lumiko si Steve kaya napahiyaw ako at napakapit ng mahigpit sa bewang niya.

“Mommy!” Napatingin ako sa kasalubong naming si Nico at si Lucas.

Humina ang takbo ni Steve sa jetski at ganun din si Nico.

“Race! Race!” Lucas shouted.

My eyes widened. “Subokan niyo lang!” sigaw ko.

“That sounds fun, don't you think so, Romanov?” Nico said and looked at Steve.

“Well I don't see any problem, I'm fine with it.” Steve replied.

Napasimangot naman ako sa sagot ni Steve. Kinurot ko ito sa bewang. I heard him chuckle.

“Yey!” Lucas happily exclaimed.

I glared at Nico. “Huy! Nico angkas mo ang anak natin! Pag iyan nahulog! Walang suot na life vest iyan!” sabi ko.

“Mommy! I know how to swim!” Luvas argued.

Aba.

“Kahit na, Lucas,” I said.

“Just let him, Selene. I'm sure his dad won't let that happen.” Steve said. Bahagya akong nilingon ni Steve sa likuran.

“Just one round, mommy? Please?” Lucas pouted and blinked his eyes cutely.

“Pagbigyan muna.” I glared at Nico when he said that. Kaya hindi na nakikinig sa akin iyang si Lucas. He spoils him!

Pinagtutulongan ako ng tatlo. Akala ko ba kakampi ko itong si Steve?

Nakatingin sa akin si Lucas at Nico at inaabangan ang magiging sagot ko.
