117: Oh I Get It

For the past 7 days Bella has been consistently nagging me about Jacob and calling his house everyday, she can be very persistent when she wants to but billy and I have been telling her the same things, Jacob is just to sick to be seeing anyone. She doesn't even know I'm seeing him, Every morning I get up, eat breakfast and at 8 I got his house and I'm back home by 3.

Jacob hasn't been going to school, he's being taught everything. He was told about his great grandfather being the alpha but he actually turned down the chance of leading the pack. He would make a great alpha in my opinion but it suits Sam, plus Jake has been upset lately, keeping to himself and being quiet. At least now he knows the full truth and understands.

I run into Emily's house since they are having a bonfire at their house to celebrate the new member of the pack.

"Emily" I run and tackle her with a huge hug.

"Y/n where have you been hiding" she hugs back just as tight.

"Here and there" I giggle.

"Go say hi to the rest you can help me later" I nod and follow her instructions.

I say hi to everyone there, and jared was the happiest to see me but he kept his excitement under control for the most part. Jacob nudged me and asked me to step aside.

"Is everything okay?" I ask him.

"I just wanted to talk to you, I wanted to fully apologize" He sighs. "I now understand his behavior" In my head I assume he's talking about Paul. "I can hear his thoughts, I know how he feels and i just want to apologize for making you feel bad about understanding and siding with him"

"Thank you, and I'm not like you guys, I don't know his every thought but somehow I still have this connection with him, it sounds dumb but I can just feel what he's going through"

"That's what makes me mad" He rolls his eyes. "He might be a bit of a better person but he's still a liar, hiding things, things that should not be his decision" Jake starts to breath heavy.

"What? Hiding what?" I ask him.

"They" He chuckles. "They all lie to yo-"

"Jacob that's enough" Sam cuts him off.

"She'll know sooner or later, don't expect me to just go along!" Jake raises his voice and walks away.

"What's he talking about?"

"I'm sorry y/n but its just not my place"

"I'm so tired of hearing that excuse" I roll my eyes and walk past Paul glaring at him and into the house where Emily is.

I stay quiet for the rest of the time. I help Emily bring the food outside so Sam could grill it and help her make hot chocolate for those that want some. Once I was done I took my sit outside and listen to everyone's turning experience. I look over at Jacob and he doesn't seem that amuse. I sigh and my phone vibrates, i pull out my phone and it was a call from Quil.. I get up and walk a few feet away to answer.

"Hey" I answer the call.

"Hey, how are you"

"I'm okay, and you?" I shift from one foot to the other.

"Just missing you, can I pick you up?"

"Um.. like right now" I cover my ears as the group behind me starts being a bit loud with their laughter.

"Yeah.. where are you?"

"I'm actually not home" I say and there's a silence in our call. The chatter behind me gets louder Jared is yelling for Paul while Sam is telling Jacob is his turn.

"Oh.. I get it" He scoffs. "Enjoy your time okay?" He hangs up.

"Quil?" Nothing, I sigh and put my phone away.

I wipe away the tears that rolled down my face, sit back at my chair and I can feel Paul trying to make eye contact but I focus on Jacob telling his transition story with the most bored face I've ever seen.

"Alright girls" Sam looks at Emily and I with a warm smile. "Jake needs to get his haircut and tribal tattoo and there are some things we need to talk about if you could go inside"

"Yeah" Emily smiles, kisses his lips.

"Good luck" I walk past Jacob and run my fingers through his hair, he looks up at me with a small smirk and concerned. He liked his hair so this will be a bug thing for him.

"Girl talk?" Emily says when we get inside.

"Yes! I'm dying" I flop on the couch with my hot chocolate in hand.
