114: Friendless

February 16th second month of the year, why is it that the beginning of the year feels slow but once you get to may everything happens so fast.

I'm in the living room doing yoga to relax my mind when Bella gets home.

"Hi baby sis" She drops her bag and hangs her coat.

"Come join me bells"

We follow the cassette tape I'm playing on the tv and attempt to do the same.

"So Friday.. do you want to go to the movies?" She asks.

"Uh.. who's going?" I keep my eyes on the tv screen.

"Angela, Jessica, Mike, Eric, Jacob and I" She looks over at me.

"Mixing Jake with the pale faces?" I giggle.

"Yeah" she laughs too.

"Sure I'll go, Jake will need someone to relax him for sure"

"Absolutely" Bella laughs so much she falls. We both laugh at how uncoordinated she is. "Alright that's my cue to stop"

"Okay bye" I smile and she grabs her bag and goes upstairs.

I continue my exercises, they have been helping a lot with the boredom after my school work, plus I'm kind of required to do some time of physical exercises to replace my gym class. As I'm finishing up my cassette there's a knock on my front door, I pause the tv and open the door.

A bouquet of flowers are covering the face of my boyfriend. I smile and giggle at his silliness.

"Hi" He pokes out from behind them.

"You're so cute" I smile and grab the beautiful flowers he's handing me.

"Not as cute as you" He comes in and follows me.

"At this pace I won't have any vases" I grab my favorite vase and fill it up with water and unravel the flowers from the wrapping.

"Then I'll get you more vases" he sits on the kitchen table.

"Okay" I smile and cut the bottoms of the stem on an angel and place them on the vase. "Should I make some tea?"

"Yeah that'd be nice" He smiles.

I grab my pot and fill it up with water and place it on the stove then return to cutting the stems.

"How come you're here so early?"

"Early dismissal, called my mom and came straight here"

"Aww you're the sweetest" my cheeks blush. "How's your mom?"

"She's okay, she's asked about you"

"Maybe one of these days I'll go visit" I suggest as I finish all the flowers.

"Yeah she'd like that"

"Okay.. it's a plan!" I pull out bread and make sandwiches.

"Is Bella here? I saw her truck"

"Yeah she's in her room, probably got here about thirty thirty-five minutes ago"

"I'm surprised she's not with Jacob"

"I think she's just doing her homework and daily email before going off to the Rez" I laugh and make our teas.

"Do you think they'll ever date?"

"Mm honestly?" I look up at him after putting sugar in our teas. "No"

"Well that was fast"

"I'm just being honest" I give him his cup and the plate with both our sandwiches. "It's not to be mean but I just know Bella" I grab a blanket and walk to the backyard.

"Yeah but could there be a chance?" We lay the blanket and sit on it.

"There could be a slight chance"

"That's good for Jacob I guess" He says a bit upset and bites his sandwich.

"What's wrong?" I sip my tea which was way too hot.

"Well with Embry gone and Jacob with Bella all the time I'm just a bit friendless" He shrugs.

"I-I'm so sorry if I had a car I'd see you more often" I frown. "Let's hangout Saturday?"

"Yeah that's sounds great" He smiles widely.

"Yay! We can go to the beach? or watch a movie here at home?"

"Yeah yeah it'll be fun!"

We make plans for Saturday and enjoy the afternoon until we realize the sun was setting. We walked inside and put the stuff in the kitchen.

"Y/n?" I heard my dad's voice coming in through the front door.

"Hi dad" I poke my head out.

"I was talking to Paul today an-" He stopped talking as he saw Quil appear behind me. "Oh Quil.. I didn't know you were here" He looks around then back at us.

"Hi Mr. Swan" Quil extends his arm to shake hands.

"It's sheriff Swan" He shakes his hand harshly.

"Dad!"

"What?" My dad shrugs innocently.

"No y-yeah of-of course sheriff Swan.. I-I was just leaving" Quil stutters through his sentence.

"Yeah" I say after him and hurry him to the front door.
