132: No Bodyguard

I stretch in bed, and enjoy the peace and quiet of my home. Bella was picked up around 3 am to go to the airport, and dad is at work. I roll around and grab my phone, I'm about to call Paul when a pebble hits my window. A huge smile is plastered across my face as I get up and run to the window. Ugh god how I loved seeing him.

"My shining armor"

"Step back my princess I'm here to rescue you" He follows along.

"Oh no am I in danger?" I use a desperate look and tone.

"Definitely!" He jumps up. "A big wolf has gotten into your humble abode"

I squeal and try to run but, he catches me and drags me to bed, I laugh and wiggle but it's no use.

"Please spare me" I laugh.

"No! You're mine forever" We giggle together and roll around. "How did you sleep?"

"Good, like a babe" I caress his hair. "You?"

"Sad, you were so far away"

"What does it feel like? Being away"

"The further and longer I don't see you the more depressed and worn out I feel. Something pulls me and if i follow it, it leads me to you" He kisses my cheek. "So no matter where you are I'll find you"

I smile, his eyes stared directly into my soul, I feel very vulnerable but also protected in so many ways. To think I'd be with anyone else is insane.

"Breakfast?" I suggest.

"Stay in bed, I got it" He kisses my cheek once again and leaves the room, I stay content. I let out a deep sigh and just stare into nothing thinking of so many outcomes. All quickly interrupted by ringing. I reach for my phone and answer.

"Good morning Rosalie"

"Hey pretty thing, do you have any plans today?"

"Just a bonfire later why?"

"Want to come over and train, you've probably got rusty already" She laughs.

"Oh yeah?" I laugh. "How about I kick your butt" Paul walks in and his smile drops as he hears who I'm speaking with.

"We'll see about that, be there in 30 minutes" She hangs up.

"No" he says sternly.

"No?" I question him. "What do you mean no"

"No I don't want you training with that leech" He flares his nostrils.

"Don't call her that, she has a name!" I throw my covers off and walk to my closet. "I'm still going"

"Why do you have to go? You can train with us like you've been doing"

"I can and I do most of the time but it's different plus she's my friend and family"

"Oh yeah.. family that left you behind" He crosses his arms.

"You don't know what you're talking about" Wind starts to pick up outside.

"I said no and that's the end of it"

"Paul, you can't just decide that for me, we might be together but you're not my boss"

"I'm protecting you, not bossing you around"

"Protecting me from what? People that care and love me? From people that protect me just like you?"

"Oh please" He throws his head back and rolls his eyes. "No one will ever protect you like me"

"I can protect my self pretty well" I start getting upset, the climate outside gets cloudy and starts to rain.
