A few days pass by. Shruti, Siddharth, and Mahika meet at the college. It's a fine, sunny day. The fest is just a few days away, and they're quite excited. They sit at their usual spot, a bench in the garden within the college premises. Shruti signals something to Mahika, which doesn't go unnoticed by Siddharth. Though he knows that he'll soon learn their plan, he can't help but tease them.

. "Hey! Yeh kya ishaare ho rahe hain? Tum dono kabse ishaaron mein baatein karne lagi ho?" he questions, his tone warm and teasing.
"Hamaari marzi, Sid! Aur hum tumhe bilkul bhi nahi batayenge, ye humara secret hai," Shruti replies, her tone teasing.

"Arey, yeh toh nainsaafi hai. Tum dono na bahut badal gaye ho, aur ab kuch dinon mein waise bhi hum alag ho jayenge! Lekin nahi, tum dono ko toh mujhse sab chhupana hai," Siddharth declares, feigning sadness.
The realization dawns upon the two girls, the smiles on their faces diminishing. They gaze at each other and then at Siddharth. They realize that he's telling the truth. In two months, their course will end, they'll become graduates, and then they will have to part ways. Shruti and Mahika look at Siddharth, each moving forward to hold his hand, his touch warm against their cold ones.
"You're right, Sid! Ab toh hum alag ho hi jayenge, job ya higher studies," Mahika exclaims, her demeanor sad.
