Mahika and Shruti meet at the cafeteria after submitting their assignments. Siddharth joins them and orders coffee and spaghetti for all of them. Shruti is amused by his changed demeanour, but Mahika isn’t. However, while having their meal, Siddharth settles his gaze on Shruti, his heart pounding in his chet as he gathers the courage to speak further. He averts his gaze to Mahika, who blinks her eyes, extending her silent support toward him. Backed by Mahika, he smiles and looks at Shruti.
“Shruti, I wanted to ask something…” He pauses and takes a sip of his coffee.

“What? Aur tum itna jhijhak kyun rahe ho? I mean abhi toh aate hi mujhe order kar rahe they ki main tumhare liye coffee order karu,” she asks, amused at the moment.
Siddharth smiles lightly, “Yeah, par ab mujhe puchna hai. Would you come to the prom night with me?” he asks.
Shruti feels her heart beating vigorously as she stares at him, taken aback by the sudden proposal.
“What? What did you say?” Shruti asks, her tone fixated on Siddharth.

He smiles and reaches out to hold her hands, “Tum mere sath prom night pe aaogi?” he asks, his tone gentle, his eyes boring into hers.
Shruti tightens her grip on the coffee mug, trying to grasp his question. As she looks at him again, the assurance in his eyes makes her believe that he’s not joking. She nods her head.
“Oh my god! Really? Mujhe laga ki tum Mahi se puchoge,” she chuckles, her tone amused.
