She walks into the office, her demeanor exuding professionalism. The space is painted in black and white, and its décor is both elegant and graceful. With a smile lighting up her face, she walks toward the receptionist and tells her that she has an interview scheduled with Mr. Gautam Malhotra. The receptionist asks her to wait, dials a number, and speaks for a few seconds. Then, she turns to Mahika and asks her to wait in the lounge beside the reception, assuring her that she will be called on time. Mahika nods and takes a seat on a chair.
She sits, her hands clasped in her lap, looking around as if taking in her surroundings. She hopes to get this job, so she can heal from the silent heartbreak she's bearing. She chuckles slightly-well, it's not even a heartbreak.

Her trance breaks when the receptionist calls her. As she looks at the lady, the receptionist guides her toward the CEO's cabin. Mahika stands up, straightens her dress, and begins to walk toward the CEO's cabin. Her steps are slow yet filled with confidence, knowing that this is her only chance to change her destiny.
Mahika knocks on the door of the cabin, and a deep, masculine voice allows her in. As she enters the cabin, she finds two gentlemen seated in front of her. The older gentleman smiles gently at her and asks her to take a seat. She greets them with a smile, then takes her seat and forwards her file toward the two men.
"Ms. Mahika!" The older man reads her name from the file.
Mahika smiles, her tone soft. "Yes, I applied for the job yesterday, sent a mail. I didn't think that I'll be here this quick," she speaks, her tone exuding confidence.
