Life begins to settle for the three friends. Siddharth has joined his father’s business, bagging the first deal of his life. On the other hand, Shruti has applied for a course in fashion and interior designing. She has always had a hunch for designing, and therefore, she’s trying to quench her thirst. She has also discussed Siddharth with her parents, and she’s glad to have their support. It’s a Sunday, and Shruti is lounging in her favourite nightdress — yep, she loves to repeat her night outfits on Sundays. The doorbell rings. She’s surprised because she’s alone at home, and she hasn’t told anybody about being alone — not even Mahi or Siddharth. She quickly looks through the keyhole and finds Mahika at the door. She opens the door quickly and pulls her into a bear hug.
Mahika is surprised but hugs her back. A few minutes later, Shruti releases her and takes her into the living room. Mahika settles on the couch and looks around.
“Aunty uncle nahi hai?” she asks.
“Nahi, vo ek party mein gaye hain. Par tum yahan kaise? Maine toh kisi ko bola hi nahi ki main akeli hoon ghar pe.” Shruti responds.

Mahika chuckles, “Isse telepathy kehte hain, Baalike! Mujhe laga tujhse milne ke liye Sunday se better kya din ho sakta hai. Baaki din toh koi aur tujhe busy rakhta hai,” she chuckles, indirectly taking a dig at Siddharth.
Shruti giggles, a faint red blush spreading across her cheek, which doesn’t go unnoticed by Mahika. She giggles, “Ahem, sirf usske naam se blush kar rahi ho. Agar wo yahan hota toh kya karti tum?” she teases her friend.
“Uh, Mahi! Tum mujhe tease karne ke liye ayi ho?” she glares at her friend.
Mahika laughs. She leans into Shruti, pulling her into a hug. “Arey nahi, main toh ye besan ke ladoo dene aayi thi yaar. Pichli baar tumne Mumma se bola tha na ladoo achche hai, toh unhone tere liye bheje hain especially,” she says, passing a tiffin box.
“Mera bhi mann kar raha tha tujhse milne ka. Toh maine socha aise hi mil aati hoon. Sid ko call kiya tha par usne pick nahi kiya,” Mahika informs.

Shruti smiles, “Oh! Mahi, I guess Sid kisi meeting mein busy hai. Ussne parso mujhe bataya tha. Foreign clients hai toh shayad raat ko meeting hogi,” she suggests.
