Friendship is precious, and so is love-but what happens when life throws unexpected challenges your way?
Shruti, Siddharth, and Mahika share a deep bond as best friends. While Mahika has loved Siddharth since childhood, fate has other plans-Siddhart...
Shruti and Siddharth pay a surprise visit to Mahika’s house. Mahika’s mother, Pallavi, welcomes them warmly and calls out for her daughter. Mahika, who has sensed their presence, runs toward the door and hugs them, though stunned.
“Tum dono yahan kya kar rahe ho? I mean hum toh CCD jaane wale they na. Siddy buoy! Tumne apna iraada toh nahi badal diya na?” Mahika rolls her eyes at her best friend.
“Mahi beta, un dono ko andar toh aane de, aur yun darwaaze pe kaun sawal karta hai?” Pallavi scolds her daughter.
“Aunty, aisa sirf Mahi kar sakti hai. Aapko pata hai, mujhpe toh hukum hi chalate rehti hai,” Siddharth responds playfully as he enters the house and bends down to touch her feet.
Pallavi blesses him, and Shruti follows suit. Mahika giggles as they seek her father’s blessings. She leans onto her mother, her tone teasing, “Mumma, achche se ashirwad dena, nai toh yeh dono humein apni shadi mein nahi bulayenge,” she says, her tone playful.
Siddharth sends a playful glare at her, “Hey! Maine aisa kab kaha? Tujhe toh aana hi padega, nai toh fir kaam kaun sambhalega,” he teases her.
“Achcha, toh matlab tu mujhe servant banayega? Huh, how rude,” Mahika makes a face.

“Arey nahi naa, tu rahegi tabhi toh sab sambhalegi. Best friends ki shadi hogi na tere,” Siddharth says as he pulls Mahika into a side-hug.
“Aur kya Mahi, tum bhi na kuch bhi bolti ho. Anyway, hum tumhe kuch dikhaane aaye hain,” Shruti chimes into the conversation.
Mahika giggles as she pulls the other two into a hug. Now settled in the living room, Mahika faces her friends, and Shruti pulls out a trophy from her bag and passes it to her. Mahika is stunned as she looks at the trophy in her hand, and then gazes at her friends.
“Kal prom ke baad awards distribution tha, Mahi. Tumhe magazine editing ke liye award mila hai. Tum nahi thi toh Shruti ne collect kar liya,” Siddharth explains.
“Haan Mahi, vo Payal ma’m ne kaha ki main hi lekar tumhe dedun. I was so proud to receive it on your behalf. Tumne vo saara kaam akele kiya, you deserve it,” Shruti says, her words reflecting the pride she had in Mahika’s work.
