As Shruti and Mahika hug, they're interrupted by a gentle male voice. They look at the doorstep and find Siddharth smiling at them. His gaze softens as he meets theirs, and he enters the room, his hand folded behind his back. He glances at them, his lips curving into a smile. As the girls watch, he bends down on his knees, his smile widening. He forwards a bouquet of red roses towards Shruti, who's touched, and for Mahika, his best friend, he presents a bouquet of pink roses and white orchids. The girls are moved.

"You guys look pretty," he comments, appreciating their looks.

"Just pretty?" Mahika rolls her eyes at him and adds, "I thought, you'd have a better compliment for Shru, she's the love of your life and now your wife," she teases

Shruti blushes, a dark shade of red coloring her cheeks. Mahika giggles and hugs Shruti, while Siddharth looks at them. "You guys forgot me! Even I need that warm hug," he complains, feeling deprived of their usual best-friends' hug.

Mahika smiles, "I thought, you could do without us, Siddy buoy!" she chuckles, calling him by the same nickname from their childhood.

"I can't, Mahi," he says, his tone honest, causing both the girls to look at him.

"Yeah, I mean my words," Siddharth says and walks to Shruti, holding her hands.

"You've become my anchor, Shru. Tumhare aane ke baad maine seekha ki mujhe har cheez ko bahut lightly nahi lena chahiye. Main Mahi ka mazaaak udata tha kabhi kabhi, but you taught me ki usey hurt bhi ho sakta hai. You've pulled me back from making many mistakes, Shru," he says, his tone soft, thick with emotion, as he gazes through the past.
