A few days pass. Mahika, Shruti, and Siddharth have finished their exams and are at Café Coffee Day, their usual spot. The table is loaded with French fries, pizzas, cheese pasta — and coffee, of course. Shruti and Mahika hold hearts for cold coffee with ice cream, while Siddharth is a sucker for hot coffee. They’re talking casually and having their lunch.

“FInally, we are meeting after ten days! It’s such a relief,” Shruti chuckles, her smile reaching her eyes.
“Yep, it’s been the most tiring ten days, yar! Thank god, you guys planned this,” Mahika says while looking at her best friends.

Siddharth glances at the ladies in front of him. “Hey, we had to meet. It’s always been the three of us,” he says, his tone genuine at the moment.
Shruti and Mahika are in awe of this guy. No matter how much he loves Shruti, he knows how to balance his relationship with Mahika. Of course, friendship is far more pious than love, and to have both is a blessing. Siddharth is truly blessed.

Mahika smiles, “Yeah! I appreciate your thought, Siddy buoy! Par mujhe laga ki tum Shru ke sath time bitana chahoge, you two are together after all,” she says, reminding them that they are not just friends, but a couple too.
“Haan, Mahi, lekin main aur Sid toh kabhi bhi time bita sakte hain. Lekin tumhare sath bhi toh waqt bitana zaroori hai na hamare liye.” She says, her tone tender.
