Ares above.

I blinked several times and turned my head to Seth. He was lying on his side, facing me, and giving me the most curious look.

"What did you think?" He asked.

The sun streamed through the curtains behind him. He looked almost angelic.

"It doesn't really change anything," I said, taking the necklace off and getting up.

"Wait, what?" Seth was confused. He sat up to study my expression. "You're not mad at us?"

"You both had your reasons but the truth is, I've only heard your side of the story, not Ian's."

Seth frowned deeply.

"But..." I continued. "I do wonder... Is Kibba still around?" I stood and opened the curtains more. Seth shielded his eyes from the blinding light.

"That's all you care about? Out of all of those dreams?"

"Well, yea... he's my dog. Of course, I'm going to care the most for a dog." I grinned.

"I honestly don't know where he is," Seth answered as my grin dropped.

"I do," Ian said from the darkest corner in my room.

Startled, I spun around at the sound of his voice. Ian emerged from the shadows. Seth sighed in annoyance.

"You just need to summon him," Ian said.

"Get the hell out of here you asshole. I still hate you." Seth said loudly.

"Relax, brother. I am only telling her how to find her beloved dog. Nothing more."

"Well?" I crossed my arms.

"You used to summon him with a chirp-like noise. It attracts most animals, but Kibba is especially sensitive to it." Ian scratched the back of his neck.

"So a bird noise?"

"Yeah basically."

"Why a bird noise? He's a dog?" I pondered.

"One time he went loose on one of Aphrodite's doves and swallowed it whole. Kibba was chirping for two full days because of the bird. These animals are immortal after all. Anyways, to make Kibba feel better, you chirped with him. Once the dove came out the other end, Kibba had a new respect for you and loved it when you would chirp, reminding him of the days you were at his side when he was in need." Ian said.

Seth yawned and leaned against one elbow, scuffing his hair with the other.

I leaned on the bedpost and sighed. "Was it a whistle or..."

"Not exactly. You sort of just breathed in."

"What?"

"Whistling involves pursed lips. You didn't purse your lips..." With every word, Ian moved a little closer.

I sat down on the bed next to Seth and stared up at Ian. "So it's like breathing... I'm assuming you keep in touch with Kibba?"

Ian looked down. "I do but I can't bring him to you. You have to summon him."

I rolled my eyes. "Seriously? I-"

A knock came at the door. "Liz?"

"Yea?" I answered. I motioned Seth and Ian to leave. Ian didn't bother arguing and left as soon as he could. Seth gave me a pleading look.

"It's me. Can I come in?" Larson asked from outside the door. "It's urgent."

Seth stayed put. "Sure. Come on in." Seth answered.
