Gabriel above.

We traveled to St. Petersburg. Gabriel was expecting us. We didn't want anyone to get caught in the crosshairs, but unfortunately, Gabriel didn't really care.

The sun would be going down soon. It took us a whole day to get here, and I wasn't too comfortable being out in the open. However, it was the easiest way to confront Gabriel and end this.

Jeremy and I sat on a park bench. Ian and Seth were out of sight.

"This is the dumbest thing I've done," Jeremy said, shivering. He was bundled in his thick scarf and coat. His hands were in his pockets. He looked around nervously. We could hear the hustle and bustle of traffic not too far away.

I looked over the water of the river. The edges were frozen. Soft snow started to fall from the sky. I looped my arm with Jeremy's. He glanced at me and I gave him a small smile.

"Jer, I-" I began but was rudely interrupted.

"I've always wondered how you seem to know where I was," Gabriel smirked approaching us with Aphrodite.

I rolled my eyes. "Clearly my scouts are better than yours. Took you long enough to realize we were here. We've been freezing our asses off for hours."

Aphrodite scowled at me. Gabriel practically held her back. "There will be no need for scouts soon enough."

"I'm surprised you didn't want to just attack us straight up," Jeremy said.

"I'm not an animal. There are people around." Gabriel said, glancing around the park where couples were walking, people were running, dogs were playing. "It is pretty lively. Hmm, maybe that will change."

Several people started sprouting wings, scaring off the others. Of course, he would surround us with his angels. I rolled my eyes. I glanced at Jeremy and grinned wickedly. He smiled slightly back. "Don't." He almost laughed.

"It's almost the end anyways. He should know." I said.

Gabriel frowned. "Know what?"

Aphrodite glanced frantically back and forth between Jeremy and me.

"So you know that other pair of angel brothers?" I asked.

Gabriel's face dropped. "Seth and Ian? What about them?"

"I heard from a little birdie that you attempted to kill him." I raised a brow.

Gabriel's eyes went wide. "It can't be..."

"Oh but it's true," Seth said from behind Gabriel. Gabriel spun around in pure horror.

Seth smirked. "Surprise bitch." He attacked Gabriel as Aphrodite went for Jeremy and I. Gabriel fumbled for his weapon. From here on I can't remember much of what happened other than the fact that we cut the shit out of each other.

Gabriel and Seth were bloodied and fighting with ragged breaths. Jeremy lay passed out on the grass. Aphrodite and I squared off.

"Don't you think you have too many lover boys by now? People will start thinking you're a slut." She sneered.

"I'm not sleeping with either of them if that's what you're asking," I said.

"Well, you slept with someone. I can just sense a change in you. Don't you remember who I am?" She laughed.

"Never said you were lying about that fact."

Aphrodite glared at me. "Who are you keeping from us? It better not have been Ares."

"It wasn't," Ian said. Aphrodite's eyes went wide.

"Fucking hell." Aphrodite attempted to run, but Ian appeared in front of her.
