I was broken before I met Suhani, turns out the broken ones had the power to heal eachother. Suhani and I—we both are internally tied together. I watch her in silence as she goes through the medicines to give me. I got fever turns out, the hours I spend under the cold shower just to punish myself had made me vulnerable.
But I was not alone there, not even for a second. She hold me together, comforted me, while I breakdown in her arms and it feels like big burden which is kept on my chest is been taken off. She had shared that burden with me just like she always does. I softly crasses Klaire, head as she sit on my laps playing with her toys.
My son is already asleep but my daughter she is still in her playful mood. Suhani passes me the medicines with a glass of water and sat infront of me.
Suhani- You didn't even finish your dinner
She speak while looking at the food plate and I had hardly eaten anything.
Jimin- I'm not very much hungry.
I speak before gulping down the medicines with water and she lift her hand to crasses the side of my face.
Suhani- You are going to be fine till morning.
Jimin- Ofcourse, I will be when you are the Doctor.
I take a hold of her hand which is on the side of my face and bring it to my mouth, kissing the inner palm of it, and she gave me a slight smile
Suhani- Alright, lay down now and Klaire, come on sweetie its time for your bed too and let dada take rest now.
She tried to take Klaire from me but she end up whimpering, hugging me slightly making both of us smile.
Jimin- Let her stay, she'll fall asleep while playing.
Suhani- No Jimin, she won't let you rest.
Jimin- It's alright, if she wants to play than we'll play right, my Princess?
I talked to her in baby voice and lay down on bed, making her sit on my stomach and she jumped on place in happiness. Making throaty noises trying to converse with me even tho nothing making sense about whatever she is trying to say.
Suhani- Alright, than you guys spend time with eachother till than, I'll check on, Levi and Eren. If they both had fallen asleep or not.
Jimin- Please, don't take much longer. I want you here with me.
Suhani- Yeah, I will be back soon.
As Suhani planted a gentle kiss on my forehead before leaving the room, I turned my attention to Klaire, who was busy chattering away and showing me her toys. Her non-stop babbling and adorable facial expressions made me smile, and for a while, I forgot about the events of the day.
She is a perfect distraction, and I was grateful for the break. But I knew tomorrow would bring its own set of challenges, starting with finding the queen before those who wanted to harm her. For now, though, I pushed those thoughts aside and focused on my little girl.
