I walked into the living room, carrying a pile of freshly washed clothes to fold. The monotony of staying in bed all day was starting to get to me, and I was looking for something to do to pass the time. After Jimin and I had showered and gotten ready for the day, he had headed to his home office to attend to some work. I, on the other hand, had decided to lend a hand to Luna with the household chores.
As I entered the living room, I was greeted by the sight of the kids playing on the carpet, their toys scattered all around them. Rihanna and Eren were also home, and they were sitting on the floor, engaged in a game with the kids. I smiled as I watched them laugh and play together.
I strolled over to the couch, taking a seat and placing the pile of clothes beside me. I began to sort through the laundry, starting to fold the clothes into neat piles. It was a mundane task, but it was something to do, and it helped to pass the time. As I worked, I couldn't help but glance over at the kids, who were still engrossed in their playtime.
Suhani- Where you both have been? And what about others too?
Rihanna- We were at headquarters, Mrs Park.
I know that already, that's what also Jimin told me when we were having breakfast but I know there's more to story which I have no idea about. There's something going on and everyone is keeping me out of the topic on purposely.
Suhani- Why? What you guys are doing in headquarters?
Eren- What do you mean by why? We work there.
Suhani- Yeah but it's rare, because you barely even leave your room and if you went to headquarters than there must be something important.
I speak as a matter of fact, making both of them share a glance with eachother and in the moment I know that they are hiding something from me.
Kian- Muh...Mhh. Zuzu! Zuzu!
He showed me his small white toy duck making me smile as I acknowledge it before he went back to play with his sister.
Rihanna- Mr Park, didn't told you anything?
Suhani- If he would've than I would not be asking you both.
Eren- I'm sorry to say this Princess but we've been ordered to not tell you. We just doesn't want to stress you out.
Suhani- Jimin asked that from you all?
They both went silent as I take a deep breath finally done folding the clothes. I stood up from couch and pick up all the folded clothes ready to walk out of living room knowing I won't get any answer from them.
But just as I take a first step towards door my gaze fall on the today's newspaper which is kept on centre table. The front page had a bold headline: "FIRST TIME IN HISTORY OF LONDON, A BLACKOUT OCCURED FOR THREE HOURS".
My eyes widened as I felt a shiver run down my spine. What was going on? I keep the clothes down on couch before picking the newspaper reading the headlines over and over. There's a whole article written underneath it which only speaks that there is no information about how did the blackout happened.
