"I'd set the world on fire, including myself, if it meant saving her."

Power. It is a word easy to spell, but hard to master. It is humanity's biggest desire, and everyone wants to know what it feels like to be the most powerful person in the...

I couldn't even sleep. I tried to, but all I did was lay there, staring blankly at the ceiling. My reflection stared right back at me through the mirrored surface: tired eyes, a heavy heart. Everything felt too big. The weight of responsibility sat like a stone on my chest.
I've never been the kind to run away from responsibilities, never. But this time, I'm not sure. Jimin's trust in me... it's something I can't even put into words. It's blind, pure, and complete. He truly believes that I can handle his world, that I can carry his legacy forward. But deep down, I'm scared. Scared of failing him. Scared that maybe... I'm not as strong as he thinks I am.
All these thoughts kept circling inside my head, refusing to rest. I finally sat up, leaning against the headboard, and looked at my kids. They were fast asleep peaceful, calm. I sighed quietly, closing my eyes, trying to clear my mind.
But a soft knock at the door broke my thoughts. I opened my eyes, and the lock clicked open. Levi stood there, framed by the doorway, giving me his lazy little smile.
Suhani- Hey... did you rest properly?
Levi- Yeah... but I'm hungry now.
He walked over, climbing up onto the bed and sitting in front of me, rubbing his eyes slightly.
Suhani- Alright... what do you want to eat?
Levi- Anything.
I reached forward, gently running my fingers through his messy hair, smiling softly at him.
Suhani- Okay then, come on, let's go to the kitchen.
He looked at Klaire and Kian, then back at me with a frown.
Levi- Who'll watch them?
Suhani- Don't worry, they're sleeping. And I'm keeping an eye on them.
I tilted the iPad slightly to show him the live feed playing on screen. He gave a small nod, satisfied, and hopped down from the bed. Together, we quietly left the room and walked toward the kitchen.
The corridor was dimly lit, the gentle hum of the security systems filling the silence. Everything in this place, the glass walls, the black surfaces, the silent mechanical heartbeat still felt unreal to me.
